The lavender blouse is not flattering. It overemphasizes the width of her shoulders and the color washes her out.

I like the blouse, other things seem off like the eyebrows and hair - although I prefer this hair style to the Morticia Addams looks at other appearances. This screen shot is not the most flattering.

The duchess looks wonderful and what a really nice hairstyle too.

I was looking at the video again, she is matching the blouse and make up to the flowers in the background, When I see the whole of it then the color looks better on her.

I don't know if it's just a personal preference or just pure stubbornness, but for how skinny Meghan is, she often chooses clothes that make her look bigger and does not fit her frame at all, that blouse being a good example of that.

Also I don't like that... whatever that loop is around her neck. It would look much better if she made a bow or just didn't have it at all.

And the make-up is clearly off, it's not a colour that fits her well.

The blouse is fine, though the color isn’t for her. It is the tie that is off. Nice lipstick

She looks wonderful! I like soft pastel colors on her.

Yep - the outfit was picked for the scene. I also think there was something with he lighting - possibility soft lighting or a filter to make it more romantic or dreamy. It is TV makeup and a rather stern hairstyle. The make up and the hairstyle don't really fit with the way it was shot. Make up and Hair is business and serious - shoot, scene and lighting say romantic?
I personally don't like the cut of blouse - reminds me of blouses my gran used to make me wear to go to church ? But it might be the fashion, I guess.

Yes, it seems like everything was studied to appear authentic, but you really are authentic when you don't put so much effort to be like that.
All these soft colors, soft lights... it seems like she's "trying" to soften her image.
Furthermore, having studied color analysis, Meghan belongs to Deep Autumn. She's supposed to avoid soft, pastel, and toned-down colours, together with white and black.
That cold lipstick doesn't suit her.
You can see the difference when she's wearing her trademark peach nude lipstick, that makes her look an effortlessly beauty.

The outfit was clearly picked for the background. I don’t think anything about it suited her- the blouse seemed large, the color isn’t “her” color, and I’m not a fan of bows/ties at the neckline.

Her make up matched her outfit/the background, but didn’t really flatter her.

Seems like there surely was a better way to coordinate her look with the background.

Meghan looked "GOODT" :)

I have no complaints about the entire look; plus the background. She looked resplendent :flowers:

Her hair looks lovely. And I actually love the color. Its perfect for the setting.

I am one of those people who never buy into seasonal colors. And am happy to not only see deep gem or rich colors in winter.

But the blouse is not flattering. The bow and shoulder area ages her. To be honest I expect this more on someone like Kate.

While I agree the color doesn't suit her (at least not to me), all royals put a lot of effort into what they wear. To the point where they pick clothes that are designed by local designer and people have criticized Meghan for not wearing enough British designers.

The color is not flattering; it does make her look washed-out.
I don't care for the style either.

I think it's the lilac (?) make-up - not her colour and somehow makes her look as if she has an allergy to the beautiful flowers that can be seen in the background.

I don't know if it's the make-up. (..)

Is it cold in Beverly Hills?

I assumed it was always warm there though the duchess is well wrapped up.

No it is unseasonably warm now. I am very surprised to see her wearing a heavy coat and warm scarf.

Do we know how old the pic is? Wondered if there have been some cooler days recently or a while back?

This past weekend was pretty warm. Low 80s.
Although it does get cold in the afternoon/night. Well, "cold" for this Californian lol

It depends on what time of the day. It can definitely get chilly but no idea what the weather was like yesterday.

Meghan looks fine for a cool day. Maybe it was taken some time ago, and just been kept. I'll be glad when the need for masks goes and we can see people's faces and expressions!

:previous: However we really have not had any unseasonably cool/cold weather in recent weeks, so I am a bit amazed to see not only a parka but also a warm scarf and knitted cap during the daytime. The article said that the photos were taken on Sunday which was a warm day.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry kept it casual for a Sunday afternoon outing in Beverly Hills.
Dressed in jeans and a gray long-sleeved T-shirt and sneakers, Harry, 36, kept close to Meghan, 39, who bundled up in a brown $375 J.Crew coat, a black top, jeans and knee-high boots.

I have been to the Santa Barbara County Mountains just north of there and it gets as low as the 30's at night but can shoot up to the 60's in the afternoon. I was up there on military maneuvers for a month this time of year. Trust me...you need a coat.

Yes it can be that way up in SB Co. However the photo was taken in Beverly Hills on Sunday when it was in the high 70's.

I suppose if one knew their whole itinerary for the day the degrees could be more exacting. I wasn't there...so I have no idea.

Like I mentioned previously it's been unseasonably warm for this time of year in Los Angeles Co. so it was a bit surprising to see a parka, scarf and knitted cap.

I wouldnt be as bothered if Harry wasn't in a long sleeve t-shirt.

You would think if it was even reasonably cold he would at least have a jacket on even if not as bundled as Meghan is. It just seems such a sharp contrast.
