The Duchess of Cambridge in what looks like a new blue dress as they celebrated the 72nd Anniversary of the NHS at a tea party this afternoon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

This is her most similar dress, the blue polka dot one. I would say this new one is similar in that it's blue and has a white collar, but it's also shorter, not polka dot, has a belt, and doesn't have a split down the front.

I'm not a fan of the severe buttoned up look for the dead of summer! I like the color and print..just would like to see a different style.

It may be the dead of summer, but the weather has been very variable these last few days, and it has been windy. So something a bit more buttoned up is probably a good choice.

This is meant to be the Shalini dress by Beulah London

She has a dress just like it. Not sure why she needed a new one but she looks nice.

Catherine would look good in anything but for me, she looks too much like an old photo of my Aunt (a hospital Matron).

I've been tired of the matronly dresses for awhile...to wear them in summer (regardless of wind) ...would like to see something more age and event minded.

I agree. Catherine is a beautiful young woman and with this dress the epaulets are wrong on wide shoulders and the print is pretty but too small in the size of the motifs. Also, this dress looks autumnal to me, not summery.

Agreed :flowers:

Matronly, and very severe with the buttons for a summer look.

Similar enough that it instantly brings it to mind with the collar and cuffs.

This one is better in the length more flattering, and the collar not so exaggerated. But still matronly.

Not liking this dress at all. Yes, it’s been very windy and cold in the UK this week, but you can still wear clothes that are young and fresh in style. This look significantly ages her.

I don't see why she insists on becoming a copycat of miss Marple at her age.. There is time left to get old, no reason to rush before 40 s.

I am not a fan of the dress at all. I do not like the fabric print, nor the white collar and sleeves. The two do not go together. The entire outfit on Catherine makes her look extremely old and old fashion. To top it off this dress makes her look much, much thinner then she already is. It does nothing to set off her beautiful face and smile.

I have never liked anything by Beulah, (or Erdem) and this is no exception.
I much prefer her floral dresses from the High Street.

The Duchess of Cambridge during a video call with schoolchildren about their tennis training - the dress can hardly be seen, but it was the perfect choice for the occasion: it's a HVN dress with a tennis print. She could wear it again at Wimbledon next year..?

The perfect dress for next year's tournament and she's also wearing her AELTC badge during the chat.?

I know I mentioned it a few posts ago, but I really don’t like her eyebrow grooming.

I think i woujld be great if she reused the dress at a tennis related event again.

Please, no. That would be the definition of Miss Frizzle. Taking her theme clothes one step too far.

It was kind of cute for a kid's related call. But not for Wimbledon.

The color is great though. :flowers:

Her usual style, but I like this dress. Polk a dots are a nice print on her. Nice break from florals and the rest.

Love the polka dot dress, hate the espadrilles!

The duchess looks lovely its the sort of dress that really suits HRH.

I love the dress. Very elegant and beautiful.

Really nice summery casual look on the duchess.
