Svensk Damtidning tells that the Acting Pastor of the Court Parish Michael Bjerkhagen tells in his Facebook about yesterday's Advent church service at the Royal Chapel:
"Today I preached at the Advent church service at the Royal Chapel, for all staff in the Royal Court in the presence of HM the King (did he forgot the queen?) and HRH Crown Princess couple, Princess Estelle and Prince Carl Philip. It was great that our youngest little princess was with them! Now the King's and Queen's Christmas lunch waits all of us employees at Karl XI's Gallery. It will be nice!"

It's a pity that the court doesn't normally publish any photos of these church services.

You can see the 2011 ceremony there so I'm guess the 2012 ceremony will be there as well.

Yes, that's what I think too. But last year you could watch it live at UR play. This year it seems that you can only watch it when it has ended.

In the first picture where they're all sitting Carl Philip looks like he almost falls asleep. :lol:

It's nice to finally see Chris with the royal family. Madeleine really looks happy with him by her side. But I can't stop feeling a little sorry for Carl Philip. Up until now he alway had a beautiful woman by his side on such kind of events. Now Chris "kidnapped" this woman and entered the scene with her. Poor Carl Philip.:ROFLMAO::whistling:
 
Yeah, Carl Philip was always his sister's escort to these kind of events now Chris is her escort. Carl Philip will have a date on his arm again if he decides to take the next step.
 
I am just happy to see Chris smiling. It can't be an easy transition to this sort of quasi-public life. I hope they have a very happy Christmas and smooth sailing to the wedding.
 
Madeleine's gown is the best in my opinion. love her faux fur coat
 
Love what I could see of Madeleine's gown. It looks purple. Are there any photos without the jacket?
 
Madeleine's looking downright fantastic these days! She's always been a stunning woman but I so much prefer the softer brown hair and natural skin tone compared to the very blonde, very tanned look she had going on a couple of years ago.
 
Victoria was the queen of the evening, lovely dress and a fantastic hairdo with the hair ornaments, and she looked so happy. She and Daniel are a couple with dignity. Carl Philip looked a little tired. It is a pity that there isn't much photos about the king and the queen. Just during the last years they have published more photos of this solemn event, which is always on 20th December.

Johan T Lindwall writes in Expressen that the king had in fact decided that he, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Prince Carl Philip would sit away from Madeleine and Chris O'Neill. It is a clear sign from the king's side to Chris O'Neill that he is about to become part of the family, but not really until the wedding next year. Instead, Chris and Madeleine sit next to Marshal of the Court, Mats Nilsson and First Lady of the Court, Kirstine von Blixen Finecke. Chris said that he felt great and that he was glad to be there with the rest of the royal family. Madeleine was translating the speeches to Chris.
