the picturs of the royal kids with their loved ones are very beautiful, the setting is perfect!
 
Perfect? I find it rather ostentatious, esp. since they very well knew that they were going to be photographed.

This gives very much the impression of being arranged indeed to appear all together, which sounds nice. My impression is that Chris and Madeleine were given more emphasis; I like seeing CHris smiling. So they might be first, for an official announcement! CP and Sofia were very quite, they probably still need to wait, time is not ripe for them!!! :bang:
 
My comment was mainly based on the video! Anne
 
the pictures are lovely, they clearly all get along very well. i wonder if they knew they were being photographed? they look quite natural and relaxed....

sofia does not look to me like princess material, but who knows... i doubt she will be allowed to marry into the royal family.

Nice and also interesting if there a meaning behind the recent video at the concert in Borgholm and these summer greeting pictures.
On the video the message was clear : all the three children of the royal family wanted to show their respective loves and happiness, and all three are "accepted" in the family circle.
On the other hand the summer greeting pictures of today are different from the one of last year where Madeleine and CarlPh also appeared.
Would it mean "these are the five key people for the monarchy in the future", but no longer Maddie and CP?? suggesting some changes to be expected in their statute!?

im so happy with this summer photoshoot, i guess its safe to say that there will be a regular summer photosessions from now on...

is there a HQ? i cant find one on the website;_;
 
there doesnt seem to be any swedish royal at the opening cerimony of the olympics...it is a pity!
 
Anne2, I'm not quite sure what you mean.
The 'recent video' from the Borgholm concert? Those were pics from photo agencies, taken during a concert which was a private occasion, not an official one.
And the tradition of an annual Solliden photo shoot was discontinued more than a decade ago, when the younger generation ceased to consist of children.

I must say that I'm not entirely happy about the publication of just two amateurish snaps, nice as they are, taking the place of a legitimate photo shoot which would result in much better and more pics in higher technical quality.

Yes, it's a pity. Victoria, Daniel and Carl Philip arrive to Olympics on Monday.
 
I think this is the first time I've seen Estelle smile! So cute!
