I loved the pictures of Froilan and Juanito playing with each other and Queen Sofia laughing in the background as she watched them (second set of Colourpress photos).

Yes, they had a loooooot of fun!

One question (that I should know as I love this family): Juanito and Froilan are about a year apart right? Is it just me or does Juanito look to be as big as his cousin Froilan in these pictures? Not as old but certainly as big.

Yes, Froilán was born on July 17th, 1998 and Juanito on September 29th, 1999. But you have to remember that both of them have "big daddies"

And nice that Victoria had some female friends with Kyril and Rosario's daughters along on the trip, too. (Though I suspect that Victoria probably likes being the only girl in the family amongst all those boys!)

I bet she does, I was the only girl among a two cousins and a brother for some time and I know that I loved it!

Where were the King and Felipe and Letizia on this trip?

We didn't see much of the king in this trip did we? Besides the mass and the Queen Sofia Trophy, he was "hidden". As for Felipe and Letizia, they're already back in Madrid to resume their official engagements, today they were at a presentation of an award.

If I'm not mistaken, they did just that for New Year's Eve, not even the photographers were able to catch them.
They went to ski out of Spain - in Canada, if I recall correctly.

would u happen to know where in Canada they went to ski?

Felipe's tie matches Queen Sofia's outfit, while King JC's tie matches Letizia's. This is the second or third time it has happened and I think it's really cute.

Iñaki's tie also matches Cristina's outfit.

The Spanish Royal Family is in the habit of passing the vacations in Palma, or at least a part of the vacations.

The Dukes of Palm have been the first ones in coming.

The Kings are in Saudi Arabia, and they have the oath of the new ministers on Tuesday and the King has on Wednesday the final of the Copa of the King of Football. The rest of the family does not have official acts but there is no news from when they were coming to Palm.
