I have this stamp with the “Official Wedding Picture” but cannot find it illustrated anywhere else and I would like to know the names of the people in the photo. Some are obvious but the little boys in kilts are a mystery.

I don't have all of the names, I can't figure out the older ladies. Obviously, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, probably Princess Alice and who?

Bridesmaids: Princess Margaret; Princess Alexandra of Kent; Lady Caroline Montagu-Douglas-Scott; Lady Mary Cambridge (descendant of George III and great-niece of Queen Mary); Lady Elizabeth Lambert; The Hon. Pamela Mountbatten (later married to David Hicks); and two Bowes-Lyon cousins, The Hon. Margaret Elphinstone and The Hon. Diana Bowes-Lyon.

Best man, the Marquess of Milford Haven, Prince Philip's cousin.

Royal Mail have released some new value definitives of the Queen, some of the existing definitives (9p, 42p, 44p, old colour 50p and 72p) have been retired and all values over £1 are due to be retired.
