I agree, if only there was no platform... I too like the colour and the whole outfit looks quite nice. :flowers:
 
I agree, Letizia's shoes are gorgeous if they weren't those dratted platforms.
 
I love Letizia's shoes. They are designed to make her look taller, but it is done in a very subtle and classy way (at least I think so). I worry, though, that through all of her image-enhancing that she is becoming too skinny. She needs to eat more paellas!! :)

I disagree with you.Her platforms shoes are tasteless and unflattering imo:whistling:One can be taller with nicer shoes,imo,without platforms.
I think Diana´s shoes were the best of all imo.Nowadays I like Princess Mathilde´s shoes.

Its each to their own. I thought Diana's shoes were alright, nothing major. She mostly wore pumps and they look like ordinary pumps worn to work or an evening party. I don't see anything special in them.

I think I like several royal ladies for their shoe styles. I like Letizia for her high heel pumps, Mary for her open-toe heels collection, Mette Marit for her stylish gladiators and Manolos and Madeleine for some daring styles she has worn recently.

I agree with you. I had a look at most pictures that were posted in this thread and I think that Diana's shoes were fine and looked good with her outfits but they were nothing special. There wasn't one pair that was making me think : wow!
I like Princess Mary's shoes best. I don't know if I like Letizia's shoe style. Some of her shoes are gorgous while others are hideous.
Mette-Marit has some very unusual shoe pairs that are very cool. I don't really like Maxima's shoe style.
 
I do like Mathilde's shoes! Maybe Letizia should mix it up a bit more and wear things other than just the platforms. While they are great, she should branch out, perhaps? But she does need to get that perfect height ratio with Felipe! ;)

I don't think there is anything subtle about her shoes:flowers:They scream "Look at me."
 
:previous: I think Letizia should have worn this suit with ordinary boots, that stop below the knees. It was an awful choice IMO.:nonono:
 
Oh, my eyes!!! Those boots make Letizia look clunky, they look the old fashioned rain boots my mother and grandmother used to wear.:bang:

I agree with you mellie. this shoes isn't suitable for winter.
 
Usually Maximas feet are too big for the shoes she is wearing. Given she is not exactly petite, she does wear shoes that would look better on women with slim or filigree feet. Maxima and her shoes often remind me of a sausage in a too tight skin, about to burst out, these pics are no exception. I also don't get her fascination for peeptoes in combination with winter outfits, wearing thick nude tights :wacko:

Agree with you! First of all she does not really face the cold... she does not take the bus!!!
And secondly, it exist special socs for peep to, either with the toes nude, or made without the "sewing line"! You can find this at any shop!!

It seems to be a habit with many royals who do that, they tend to wear peep toe shoes with stockings which doesnt really work, they do it in summer & in winter.
IMO, thats a mistake, peep toe shoes should not bee worn with stockings. I also dont think it makes a difference whether the shoes are half a size big or smaller.

Peronally, I don't find anything wrong with that, stockings can be wears also with sandals in winter
