Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Luxembourg yesterday, September 10. The look is nice, but maybe a little less material on the top would have been nicer:

For such an important historical Event for Luxembourg and their Grand Ducal Family , the actual Grand Duchess Consort should have worn something classic a hat and gloves to commemorate and respect it.

I suspect the Grand Duchess is far too cool and trendy for that sort of outfit now. The people of Luxembourg should be pleased that she did not come in a beach dress (scroll above to see pictures from Venice) or pyjamas / trousers.

The jacket looks tacky but I guess to a Grand Ducal trend setter like GDMT it looks cool and hip and in with the crowd.
