I had a look at the official web site yesterday, but it didn't say anything about this event. So what a pleasant surprise to find. Thank you to everyone for the lovely pictures. It's great that there are so many pictures, and also so many pictures of the royal family from this month. But it's going to be really hard choosing just 1 picture for 'the Picture of the Month Poll'.

Yes, they do look like a solid couple -- lots of communication in this couple! I also love her hairdo. Hannelore and Jelka, the photos really enable us to see it. It looks as though she has a small "French braid" (as we call it here) at the top and then lots of curls underneath! She looks very, very elegant -- I hope it's a "repeater"!!

5. Queen Paola and prince Joachim visit Panamarenko's retrospective. Panamarenko's wife asked the queen whether they would conduct the tour in Dutch (Paola's Dutch is very poor). She said "Yes yes, I'll try to do my best". According to the artist the queen was pleased but surprised by how many works are exposed, and probably glad when it was over. He also suspects one of his works will be bought by the palace.

6. The baptism of prince Christian of Denmark. His 120 years old baptism dress was made in Belgium from Belgian lace.

Oh I don't think you have to worry much about Van Zuydewijn. The Dutch people know by now that he is just telling lies to attract attention. As in the reportage is said, in the past he has already said some silly things.

I thought the footage of the three d'Udekom d'Acoz sisters was wonderful. What beautiful women and their movements are so subtle. Can anyone get screencaps of this segment? I tried and had no success.

I bet the paparazzi are jealous of King Albert's camera in this picture! Is the King an avid photographer by the way?

I have always been partial to Mathilde's fashion sense, but I detest her pants in this picture. Paisley-patterned pants aren't quite the subtle fashion statement I'm used to her making.

Catherine, thank you so much for these pictures - I have been hoping someone would post more of them. The colors of the buildings in the port are just beautiful -- so typically Italian. I wonder if they actually escaped the cold? It looks like they are quite bundled up.

Is the house that KA and AP own near Portofino? I can't recall the name of the town the house is in. Again, thank you for the photos.
