It was actually interesting to see "The Clan" all together in a setting they didn't really control.
They looked more like a "normal" family than I've ever seen them.
I think Andrea was explaining something to do with Charlotte's bible reading.
But what I found a bit sad was that Prince Ernst-August of Hannover couldn't even stand by his estranged wife's side when she needed an escort on this most auspicious and rarest of occasions ~ the marriage of her only brother & sovereign. Whereas Caroline stood by his side when he needed her to testify before court to acquit him of hitting a nightclub owner or some such things years ago, and this right after pictures were published of Ernst cavorting with another female. Still, Caroline did her duty, and stood by his side. Yet he couldn't even do that for her, just this once. It speaks ill of his character.

On the bright side, I love how his sons were there for their stepmother, siblings, uncle, and aunt; it truly was like a beacon of light!

I was relieved to see Ernstie and Christian at the wedding, and that Ernst senior did not show up.
