Red Cross Ball, Monaco: 2005 - 2019, 2021 - 2024

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Camille is the grandchild that looks the most like Grace. Her uncle Albert seems to have a soft spot for her. :flowers:

I think this is Camille’s first Red Cross Ball. In fact, I don’t think any of Stephanie’s children have attended the Ball before. I wonder what has brought this about? Several years back, when Caroline’s children began to appear at the Rose Ball, I wondered if Stephanie’s kids might begin to be seen at the Red Cross Ball. Hope this will be the case, although Stephanie stopped going quite a few years ago.
It’s lovely that Camille has embraced the spirit of the occasion. No cocktail dress, trousers or minimalist evening wear. She’s dressed to the nines!

If I remember well Prince Albert recently appointed Camille with a role within the Red Cross : Responsable section jeunesse. That is the reason she is attending .

Thank you, I’d missed that. I love the way Albert has involved all his nieces and nephews in various activities across the Principality.

It's not her first time at the Red Cross Ball, Camille already attended last year, see here :flowers:

Missed that too! So that means it’s probably unlikely we will see Pauline or Louis at this ball in the foreseeable future.

What role? If it is meaningful, ok. But, I just have the feeling that Camille hasn't found yet anything to do with her life .
Did she ever get an education? So far we only know about her IG posts which is mainly about having fun and enjoying life. Nothing wrong about that if you are a rich kid.
Albert seems to be trying to help this young woman to get a life.
Pauline has her fashion business and is living in Paris.
Louis is married, has a job as a sports promoter or something like that, has a little daughter.
Camille? Attending the Red Cross Ball once a year, but what else is she doing all day?

Well we don’t know if she is working , apart from being a member of the princely family she is a private person but she is involved in many charities : she had created Be Safe Monaco and she has this role in the Monégasque Res Cross. She is a charming decent young lady .

Any pics of the Princely couple opening the dancing?

As for Camille's role at the red cross, she is on the board of directors responsible for the youth division.

She has attended other events not just the ball, with her Uncle for it.

And yes she did some education after high school. She study communications in Nice.

I don't get doing charity work is any less serious or honorable then fashion design or anything else. Its not like she is simply some party girl.

I completely agree with you

This Friday, July 19, this year's Red Cross Ball will take place!

It's the 75th edition and Jamiroquai will perform:

Yes, I was expecting there might be more fuss made of it being the 75th, but I haven’t come across any media attention. Instead, Monaco is gearing up for hosting the final stage of the Tour de France this weekend.

The last time she attended was in 2013, it's the Rose Ball she attends each year.
For a moment I thought Caroline was the Chair or organizer/in charge of the Red Cross Ball, too.

I can't wait for the pics and who will attend. Jamiroquai is still around? I am a fan of his music, wish I could be there!

I’ll start with the positive. I like that Albert, Charlene and Camille are colour coordinating the Monegasque/ Red Cross colours. As this isn’t a fashion thread , I won’t comment on this aspect other than to say Albert looks very dapper and Charlene an elegant and serene First Lady.
This is the 75th Ball. Okay, it’s not got an ‘0’ after it, but 75 years of any organisation is usually treated as special. I am totally underwhelmed by what I have seen so far.
Where are the rest of the family? I know both Caroline and Stephanie haven’t attended for a while, but this is a real disappointment.
I thought there might be some bling on show tonight, but Charlene ( as lovely as she looks) has opted for minimal - even her evening bag is rather understated.
The backdrop which the guests are photographed in front of is bland and unremarkable. The bouquet presented to Charlene is minuscule.
I post this before the later pics are available. Perhaps there’ll be something remarkable and the interior shots will suggest a special effort has been made to mark this milestone. But somehow I doubt it. Hope the fireworks don’t disappoint!

For a 75th anniversary (Diamond jubilee?) seems a bit muted to me. I mean, the decor and everyone looks great, especially Camille, but where is the extended Prince Albert's family, the Caroline Glam Squad?

Strange there were so few members of the family.

It's been the same combination as in 2023 and 2022 - Albert, Charlene and Camille.

The last time we've seen more members of the family attending was in 2021.

Are there any photos of the prince and princess opening the dancing, those are always my favourite ones.

I posted in the fashion thread that Camille Gottlieb's dress heavy top makes her shorter when you see it with the high cut leg, and here is the opposite. Looks better without the need to upper leg exposure.

That's what I didn't like about the dress, the too high split in the skirt, it made it look tacky.

Agree. Will also love to see some pics of the couple dancing. After their marriage there used to be videos as well, but it seems these are no longer released. It does seem like the RC Ball is not the glamour event it used to be. Such a pity. But it is wonderful to see the couple happy and relaxed together.
