Ramadan: 2007-2024

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Wearing a tie to the mosque would be quite inappropriate and uncomfortable when praying.

With Ramadan almost upon us, please remember to post only Ramadan-related activities of the Jordanian royals in this thread (ex. Iftars, prayers, visits to orphanages and other charitable events)

News and pictures of all events not related to Ramadan (ex. diplomatic/political meetings and visits etc) should continue to be posted in the relevant current events threads.

Thank you

Prince Rashid looks great here, I liked his style, may be that is Zeina Shaban's effect ;-)

Rania looks great and it's nice to see that she was still working today despite the short trip to Edinburgh.

Princess Alia al Tabaa has always been a very charitable lady who takes her responsibilities to the less fortunate in Jordan very seriously both at Ramadan and other times. It is one of the reasons she is so well thought of and respected. She is particularly good with the children who always respond to her natural warmth. Great to see her carrying on her work.

Where is the queen? It has been a few days since she got back from her holiday. I am surprised she hasn't been doing any duties.

Royal Gestures Bring Mercy to Rahmaniyya

AMMONNEWS - Um Muhammad Khair, was living in hard conditions. Her husband's illness deprived him of the ability to work, and her 9 children crammed into a rented apartment in "Rahmaniyya" unfit for decent living. She never envisaged that resorting to the Royal Court several months ago to seek help would culminate in a royal visit to her meager home.
King Abdullah knocked on her door on one blessed Ramadan day, opening the door for him, she felt the wave of hope and comfort, she told 'Ammon News.'
"His Majesty rescued us from the long suffering we had endured," she said. He offered them a sum of money in charity, ordered that the family be provided a decent home, provided them with a monthly pension so that they will never need to ask again for help, and ordered that the whole family be covered by health insurance.
Despite all the words of gratefulness and gratitude, Um Muhammad and her family felt no words may express their feelings regarding such a royal visit.
