Not true, really… Apart from last year’s Nobel, when Queen Silvia wore her hair open for the first time, which actually resulted in a good overall look with the kind of medieval red Yuki gown, she has continued her elaborate style with fabulous hairdos.

I also liked the very glamorous red dress from the New York Mentor gala. Sleek, sparkling, with beautiful extras in the arm slits, the gathering of the fabric in the front and the short train. Quite a perfect for a less formal, ‘Manattan Gala’ gown:
