Thorgren is asked if it is now a case of illness.

Pretty weak answer. She was expected to remain at the Olympics with her husband. A sudden leave for a random personal visit doesn't make sense. If it was just about visiting her brother as often as possible, she could have waited until after the OG or visit him before attending (or any other time during the summer holiday).

Though Margareta Thorgren is infamous for giving blurry answers rather than clarifying things…

Sometimes a simple ”no comment” is better than a long answer if you are not allowed to say anything anyway…

Why do we need to know everything, just let us accept she felt it necessary to visit her elderly brother.

Margareta Thorgren to Svensk Damtidning:
- Charlotte Sommerlath died last weekend. The funeral will take place on Friday and it will be private. The King and Queen attend with their children.
It is not known where the funeral will take place, but probably in Belgium: Ralf and Charlotte lived in Kettenis outside Eupen, which is close to the border with Germany.
