How is the hairdo making her older than she is (50) ? I only see a neat, blonde, well-coiffed hairdo. For me this is a coupe one would expect to see on a Queen of the Belgians born a comtesse d'Udekem d'Acoz.

I certainly agree. Queen Mathilde's hair always looks clean, well cut and shinny. There are a few that cannot say this.

I like her hair here as well, we have seen more aging hairdo's on her. The dress is lovely, I always like to see HM in Dries van Noten.

I can't claim to be a big fan of the gown. To my untrained eye, the detailing looks like the scribbling of an angry, angry child.
