That's no a bad outfit on Queen Máxima and a neat enough hairstyle too!
 
Isn't it amazing how an overall look can be impacted by the hair style, or lack thereof!
The dress is actually worse and if you weren't a royal watcher you'd never believe that Maxima was a queen consort on an over see's trip!

To me, the tweed is quite a formal fabric, as are the accompanying pearl jewellery. The frayed edging on the ensemble and the frayed, un-styled hair is so incongruous with very formal clothes.

Also, might the tweed not be too warm for the tropical Singaporean weather?

Sorry I was referring to look number 2 ,the Nathan design ;)
 
That second dress is awful. For both looks the hair lets her down. It’s so frequently the case.
