I usually like CH on Letizia but not this time, far too overwhelming for her body type. It might look good on Maxima, but not on a petite and short woman in low heels.

I think the issue is the ruffle being too much for someone as petite as Letizia — had it been smaller I feel like the outfit would have worked better.

I don’t like this dress. The lower part is fitted well but the piece of fabric on the top is weird.

Just awful, I have never disliked a CH garment before. Don’t really see how this could look well on anyone

It's hard to go wrong with CH but Letizia simply does not have the stature needed to pull off this very dramatic look.
This is an outfit for Charlene of Monaco, Mathilde of Belgium, or Maxima of the Netherlands.
But as usual, her luxurious hair blows my socks off.

Agree on the dress but not the hair, Moonmaiden23. To me, the length and style aren't flattering on Letizia. She has beautiful eyes but her hair distracts from them. Obviously, just my opinion as others love her hair!

She has nice hair per se (the girls are probably doubly genetically-blessed). She’s had prettier hairstyles. And no doubt will again.

Not my fave look at the POA awards but still nice - she steps up at these events, even during her more causal years she always brought her best looks to this event.

I like the dress and I like it on her, but I don't think this was the right event for such a dress. A little overwhelming when she is next to Leonor. But I would love to see this again somewhere else.
