Though she has limited imagination on how to use jewels with her wardrobe choices the aquamarine earrings are absolutely stunning and were a really impressive addition to her jewel chest.

Yes, the necklace looks like that of Queen Mercedes. It would be the first time Queen Letizia uses it. She wore a necklace two years ago at the Princess of Asturias Awards, which the press confused with this one, that one had a sapphire on the closing clasp, this one has a big diamond.

I wounder Letizia wore the necklace that way,(closing clasp on the side not at the back) so we can
identify the necklace as the joyas de pasar..

She has worn the necklace just twice 2006&2007 We have never seen it on her since becoming Queen ( I still hope to see it again one day, the earrings have a great sparkle)

The sheer size of these bracelets overwhelm her ensemble. There is such a disparity in size and image. I could see her wearing them while wearing a fantastic gala gown and there would be balance but, with a jumpsuit? No. It makes them look fake.

I agree, those bracelets are part of the joyas pasar, very special and precious. Yet Letizia almost uses them inflationary, for ordinary events with ordinary outfits, sorry to say, it almost devalues them.
She almost wears no jewellery but to add those bracelets so often is over the top.

These bracelets are always worn at one arm, I would like it more when she wears it in two pieces indeed.

I think its intersting or odd? she usually wears just earrings nothing else but later she wears two diamond bracelets on one arm for "more sparkle" I think this bracelets a kind of "over worn" like most of her outfits. Of course she owns just a couple of bracelets, but these diamonds should be worn for special events, Gala Dinner or even the asturias award.
