I am also disappointed in a lack of hat for the official welcome as Camilla wears them so well. I imagine they would also be practical and provide some relief from the Kenyan sun. She looks lovely all the same. I find Camilla generally strikes a good balance between looking casual but appropriate.

Her handbag

I have noticed that Camilla-and others, including models- are carrying evening bags which are carried at hip level, rather like a football! IMO, a daintier bag which can be gracefully clutched- makes a more elegant appearance.

I can hear some moans from here but it's a typical, and great, Camilla evening look for non european countries. As i said above, the Queen is playing the understated card and i do think it' s a smart move.

A very nice colour on her, she's looking very glamorous.

Is Camilla wearing trousers?!

Camilla looks both relaxed and elegant - it’s a very attractive and well judged look. The colour is lovely, the style works well on her figure and the jewels are not too lavish. However, I’m not a fan of this necklace, and don’t think it works with the earrings.

This is a great look. Very Camilla, it's relaxed but elegant.

The colour is really nice but I'm not a fan of that particular necklace.

She also favours a v neck line both for evening and day wear. Certainly this tour, I don’t think she’s deviated from it.

Classic Camilla warm weather wardrobe. The colour works well with her. She has been using variations of this theme for over 15 years now.

And a really lovely colour too ,the poppy brooch too is perfect!

Camilla really has perfected the art of being comfortable while elegant in hot countries. She really is the most adaptive and pragmatic dresser, (maybe Anne is her equal), and chooses the most flattering colours and fabrics to really feast the eyes upon. Not only that but she is also on a par with Prince Anne in the pragmatic dressing stakes as she strides out to feed a baby elephant in a pair of the most practical and definitely not flattering, ankle boots!

And then again, she gives her own unique nod to elegance and days gone by with one of her classic parasols.

There is one lovely accessory I would love to see her go back to using both with her daywear and her eveningwear!

Yes, I love to see her with a fan. Looking at the earlier photo, I do like her hair a little shorter and with slightly more layers. I think it works better for her when she’s not wearing a hat.

Lovely dress for the final day. She knows what works for her and sticks with that!

A great dress for Camilla at a reception to mark 60 years of the Disasters Emergency Committee yesterday, November 8:

Really lovely and the pearl choker goes perfectly with the outfit.
