Princess Letizia's Daytime Fashion Part 21: August 2011 - October 2011

I've seen pants this length at stores in the past several weeks, so I think it's something that is in some ways considered 'stylish'. I used to have pants this length, but they were not used for formal/dressy occasions. I wore them when I had to run errands and the weather was too hot for long jeans/pants, but too cold for shorts.

It's true that there are short pants in the stores, but I bet they aren't tailored to fit like what Letizia has on.

Capri style silk pants are very popular over the summer and extremely comfortable. Women in my office wore them alot. Letizia's pants today are too baggy, the fabric seems poor quality. She has a much better set (in the following picture) that would look very good with today's shoes (I don't like the flat shoes in the picture) IMO.

Letizia has been making lovely wardrobe choices for her recent engagements. What happened to bring about this change? And what happened to cause her to turn back from it?

The bra showing through the purple top was really unfortunate. But it was probably a mistake -- a poor and sloppy one, yes, but she's not the only princess to have been caught out. Hopefully she takes a little more care to check before leaving the palace next time -- to not only check that nothing is peeking but also that her outfit looks halfway decent!

I wonder how it is that such a beautiful woman, who can and has dressed well, can go from one extreme to the other? Does she work with a stylist at all? If so, it must be infrequently! If not, Letizia obviously knows how to put a decent looking outfit together and I just wish she did so more often.

Letizia and Felipe met competitors as they visited the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12 fleet prior to the start of the Alicante qualifying race today. Letizia was declared godmother of Team Telefonica during a christening ceremony at the Alicante Race Village.

This is a lovely navy blue silk top with the white suit. Its great seeing her in such a pretty top and not a t-shirt that she tends to go with usually. Jacket is beautiful, lovely fabric and lovely length. Overall this is such a nice look.

Good you pointed that out. In many pictures it looks navy and in some depending the sunlight looks teal/navy.

I don't like Letizia's shoulder pads. Her neck isn't long enough for that. At first, I thought she was always tense, but then I realized it was her shoulder pads.

I love the blouse but the suit looks to winter...we are in Autum but the temeprature is like summer so I found that suit too warm for the season...but love the combination fo colours!

The blouse has a really nice colour, warm-red-earthy clours suit her very well,I would have paired the blouse with a set of pants in some kind of camel/sand-colour...

The photos are great. Leti looks glamorous today (I'm wondering if she's using L'Oreal or not). The blouse and bag go perfectly with the suit, I love such strong colors.

It's realy a very nice outfit.Every piece is perfect and the combination of colours is wonderful.I love the colour of the blouse,the suit is very well cut and it appears brown not grey and the hair and makeup are gorgeous as usual.

This is a beautiful fall look! I love the dark brown suit (that's what color I am seeing on my computer screen) and deep, bright orange blouse. It's a perfect match for her clutch. The pants are flattering on her, and with her teeny tiny frame that itsn't always the case. The style of shoe is perfect with the pants, but the color may not be the best.
