I'm Catholic and confirmation does exist, in fact you can't get married in the Catholic Church if you aren't confirmed.
Sounds as if she will leave her summer camp (that runs until the 30th!) to attend the national day ceremonies. So, she remains 'different' even though they try to treat her as if she is not.
I don't buy she is not 'different'. Other cadets don't get a photo-op on their summer camp for instance.
Besides she is not career military anyway. Her one-year training, useful though it may be to her in future, is mostly box ticking in her long list of to-do things as heir to the throne.

I do not see how mind-reading is required. If she intended on a military career she would complete the entire program rather than departing after the first year, and, in any case, the expectation in Belgium is that the crown princess will be a full-time working member of the royal family rather than taking up a career.
The students of the military academy march in the parade every year.
The frequently, by me, quoted Belgian journalist Wim Dehandshutter writes on twitter that Princess Elisabeth is most likely to attend "a top foreign university". Her father, King Philippe, went to Stanford. He also writes that an announcement from the Palace regarding Elisabeth's plans is expected in the near future.Congratulations to Princess Elisabeth and I hope she enjoyed this year at the Royal Military School.
What is she going to do next?
Do you know that Prince Philippe had no universty Degree at all and that 29 travels were needed for he may go to Stanford.

No she will not study at the Belgian Universities but abroad not far from Belgium. That means not in the USA .
If there is a Belgian state visit to the UK in the next 3 years and Princess Elisabeth is a student there, would she be invited to the state dinner too?
