Once again, proof positive that one doesn't need to be "pretty" to be absolutely STUNNING.
 
Plain, low-key, dowdy hair-do and all those other less-than-flattering descriptions seem, somehow, to add up to FAB-U-LOUS!!!

Princess Anne as President of the Rural Housing Trustlands (since 1988) has been in Suffolk
to unveil a plaque at Moira Constable Cottages, which is an affordable housing scheme for
rural residents, on October 14, 2010. The cottages are named after the late founder and chief
executive of the Rural Housing Trust (RHT). The RHT provides affordable housing for villagers
and is campaigning to build at least 50,000 such homes around the country.

And today, October 22, Anne in her role as patron of the Spinal Injuries Association
attended a Charity Race Day at Doncaster Racecourse, Yorkshire.

She's always been thin and has had a good figure, however, I did read in Lady Colin Campbell's book that TPR does so many engagements she doesn't have a chance to eat at times.
 
...I could learn from the Princess Royal. Eat to live, not live to eat! LOL. She is stunning...thin or not.

subsequently unveilled the Merchant Navy Memorial at The Shore and afterwards

On February 22, Princess Anne as patron of the transport charity TransAid
officially opened Norbert Dentressangle's (ND) Centurion Park DC in Tamworth,
Staffordshire.

Princess Anne as President of Riding for the Disabled Association visited Noorwood Ravenswood
Village, Crowthorne, Berks, on February 24, 2011. She handed out rosettes and certificates to
fellow equestrians when she paid a visit to the stables at Ravenswood Village, a centre for people
with disabilities.

Princess Anne is in Edinburgh today, March 16.
She unveilled a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen at The Scottish Parliament,
as patron of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, she attended a rededication
ceremony of the Earl Haig Monument at Hospital Square, Edinburgh Castle and as
honorary patron of the Scotland Malawi Partnership she attended a reception to
commemorate 150 years of friendship at Lothian Chambers.

Princess Anne as patron of the United Kingdom Sailing Academy presented the Achievement
Awards in London, 24 March 2011. The Academy provides maritime education and offers
opportunities for people with disabilities to develop skills and confidence through yachting
and watersports.

Princess Anne has visited the Sheldonian Theatre for the Sunday Times Oxford
Literary Festival, Oxford, April 6. As President of Save the Children she gave
a talk at the Sheldoian Theatre about the work of her African Charities.

In her role as president of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers Princess Anne
has presented a prize to winning jockey Peter Buchanan at a Race Day at
Kelso Racecourse in Roxburghshire, 4 April 2011.
