Wishing the press would concentrate on William and Kate? As if they don't? God, I wish the press would concentrate on anything but them!
It's becoming more and more annoying to me that news about the Prince unrelated to Kate is impossible to find.

I do understand what you're saying, it's become difficult to find information about Prince William only. But the articles about the completion of his Tank Commander course seem to focus on the prince, I just wish they hadn't made that nasty comment about the quality of Prince William's passing.

I hope this won't annoy you further, but it was nice to read that Prince William took Kate Middleton to Tam Na Ghar after they returned from their Seychelles Island trip. I finally realized the article was saying he took her there for a visit before the Remembrance service for his mother! At first I thought it was saying they were there now. I wonder if any photos of their visit will surface?

I hope so, because the only thing more annoying than the media obsession with Prince-William-boyfriend-of-Kate-Middleton is the debate on whether or not they are "on again".

Well, he has just completed his specialty training with the army, so I imagine he must work at it for some time before he goes onto the naval phase.

As for Kate, the "official unofficial" word is that they are together again, but until there is something a bit more reliable to go on, I seriously doubt the moderators will reopen her thread. Though I wish they would, as much as anyone else here.

Casiraghi Trio, I don't believe astrology has any bearing on how airheaded or grounded a person is! I think fruitcake is the correct word for that lady.

He is unlikely to be promoted for at least 2 years, normally it is 3 years unless they show exceptional leadership qualities. I think he is expected to serve as an Army Officer for a minimum of 2 years, before going on to train with the RAF or Navy.

William an "airhead Gemini" and Kate a "grounded Capricorn"?

You would at least expect her to get the descriptions right. Gemini is described thus:-
Changeable, agile, dexterous, communicative, versatile, restless, lively, alert, literary, sociable and intellectual.
not an airhead in sight
Capricorn -
Ambitious, serious, disciplined, practical, methodical, thrifty, responsible and reliable.
I speak from experience and neither of these descriptions comes close!

I thought it was it was two years but know more then I do about British Army promotion process. How does any young officer show his he has exceptional leadership skills without deployed with the frist two years of service?
As far as I had been able to understand he will do about 2 years in the Army and than attachments in the Royal Navy and RAF where he will do officer training in those services and maybe other training those services.
Does anyone really know how long either the attachments will be?
During the attachments is still considered in the Army or what?

With the varying degree courses available now, the old fast track through as a graduate has to some extent been done away with. The exceptions to that are medical staff and now some other specialists. Computer programmers or IT 'experts'are being treated in the same way as doctors or dentists.

An exceptional leader has a natural ability, people look to him or her regardless of the rank he/she holds. Most people have met or know someone that inspires them or that they want to do their best for. They are good at their job and complete every task they are given with such professionalism that they make it look easy. They will also listen to others, take what they say 'on board', but make their own decision. It shouldn't matter whether they are deployed or not, if they have got 'it', it shows wherever they are based.

The detachments, I believe will be for a minimum of 6 months but possibly a year at each, during which time he will still receive an army officers pay and nothing from either of the other services.

What difference does it make what the "name" of the forum is. The only person in the "ex-partners" forum who will be topic A is Kate Middleton. So for all intents and purposes it can be called the William-future-wife-forum it's still all about Kate. So this curious hard line about calling Kate an ex-partner when clearly the evidence absolutely contradicts it, is amusing. Sad, but amusing still.

Does everyone else see what is happening? Wasn't this something which bothered Prince Charles about being married to Diana? Now it is like history repeating itself, with there being no news about Prince William unless it involves Kate, and they're not even married yet. For Prince Charles it was like, "Oh he's making a speech about those awful city architects, oh look at Diana's smile!" Now for William, it's "Oh he passed his army test, and he's spending time with Kate at Balmoral...."

Guy Pelly is one cool bloke. It's pretty lame anyone would try to set him up like that, but if anyone can handle it, he can. I should think he or Susanna would have some legal options. It might be tough with the British laws strongly favoring the photographer, but with the pics having been taken without the subjects knowledge and if the pics go public, I hope that would be a human rights case. That's just wrong.

For the moment. And as long as there's no confirmation that they're back together, that's where she's staying. While they were officially together, there were photos of the two of them at formal and informal events the whole time. Now pretty much all we have is a bunch of rumours and of photos of them separately with claims that they're really together.

So for all intents and purposes it can be called the William-future-wife-forum it's still all about Kate.

For the moment. That'll change as soon as some other popular royal has a high-profile breakup.

So this curious hard line about calling Kate an ex-partner when clearly the evidence absolutely contradicts it, is amusing. Sad, but amusing still.

If the evidence is so absolutely overwhelming, feel free to present it. Separate photos of William and Kate allegedly arriving in the same place at different times, with Kate wearing the same clothes she was wearing on a trip a month earlier, don't count as overwhelming evidence.

The evidence can be provided until blue in the face, some quarters still will close their eyes tightly and clasp their ears. I've already seen enough to convince me they are back on...her standing beneath a Seychelles sign in an airport, with DIFFERERNT LUGGAGE from a previous trip; her sitting near him at the concert for his mother; and a photo of them together after the concert, and out of paparazzi camera range, as they have planned.

As I said before, doesn't matter to me what the forum is called where Kate Middleton is discussed. And you can pretty much believe what you want, including the earth is flat. It won't change a thing about their relationship or hurt anyone.

Just some will continue to go to other places first to easily find articles, current info, etc., And will come here last, if at all to look at one or two old articles and comments in an inaccurately titled forum. Kinda biting the nose to spite the face.

Meanwhile, I hope Kate remembers to curtsy when she sits down for tea with the Queen at Balmoral after seeing her earlier in the day.
