is this http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/noje/story/0,2789,218630,00.html a new artikel or an old one.
Because it seems to be from the aftonbladet of sunday the 3rd, but prins cp is there only 23 years old??
It's from October 2002 (the date of the article can always be seen at the bottom of it) when Princess Lilian and Prince Carl Philip went to a Bruce Springsteen concert at the Globe Arena in Stockholm.

Hottie in the hot hot sun ;)
According to Aftonbladet prince Carl Philip is starting or following the hottest trend of the spring. He has decided to (ta-ta) sit in a sidewalk cafe in the warm spring-sun. And according to Aftonbladet the sun was so bright, that he had to wear sunglasses.
Here I can only say those crazy Swedes and their cult around the first sunrays :p
According to Aftonbladet Emma was with him, but I couldn´t spot her, so I haven´t posted this in the Emma&Cp-thread.

Are there now any news of CP and his official engagement?

Some pics perharps :)
It would be really nice to see and read something new about the prince.

This is a picture from the gala dinner at the latvian state visit. To me Carl Philip looks here much older...and his facial features look much harder. I guess this is a result of age (of course), but also of the intensive weight training he does with his brother-in-law-to-be Daniel Westling. What do you think (when you note the difference)? Do you prefer CP with more "prominent" facial features or the softer look, he had before?

Oh my god. He doesn´t look good.He looks so stern, and he also had this pseudo quinsy, which also his sister has.
And in my opinion he should cut his hair.
I like him most with shorter ones.
But we aren´t in the position to decide this :(

He really looks like his father here.

mmh i don´t know.
I don´t think so, that he looks really like his father.
I have a picture of Carl Gustav (younger)
I can be wrong, so when you think he looks like him, it´s your opinion ;)
But you can see, it´s the same family
So compare:

Here´s a interview with Carl Philip where he tells about his time in the miliyary. http://www.marinnytt.mil.se/article.php?id=7400

The article I posted is about prince Carl Philip. Its probably from late 2002 or early 2003 and he talks about his time in the military.

He said he liked the trips he made with HMS Carlskrona and that it was very exiting to visit places such as Santorini and Cork on Ireland. Cork was one of his favourite places.
He also said that one of the best thing was that he met many different people and that he is now better in "knowing people". In swedish he said "människokännare"...

Thats basiclly it. My english isnt good enough to translate a whole interview but this is atleast the most "important" parts of it :)

Thank you Emil. Does this mean, that you think, that he has "just" studied 5 terms or do you mean he has studied 5 terms and has managed the most things (except the mentioned course) he should (according to the plan) at this point? I mean in Europe you can often study 20 terms, when you want (and when you have the money and the time). But of course there´s the plan with the "lowest possible time of studying" (as you have said 9 terms for law in Sweden...I guess like in other countries you have to manage a first "part" to make the second one and then the third one...and so on...and when you manage this always in the "right" time you can finish within 9 terms)
Actually, I don't know, but I’ve heard a long time that he is a student of law. This course that he was attending with me, is not an required course for continue to the next term. But you will need it before your degree. I will try to ask some friends if they know for how long he has studied at the university.

Slightly tacky topic: According to Aftonbladet the magazine Amelia has made a poll (with 500 female Swedes) and has asked them to name the Swedish (famous) men, with whom they want to spend a night together.
Prince Carl Philip is on the 9th place (actually I would place him on the top...but there´s Freddie Ljungberg...and one hardly would kick him out of the bed :p ) and Daniel Westling on the 16th (IMO quite a high rank/position for him...Yennie have you manipulated the poll? Haven´t I heard out of your mouth a lot of enthusiastic words on the boyfriends of the princesses...and of course on prince Carl Philip? :p :) )

haha, I wont say a thing :)
But one thing I can say is that Fredrik Ljungberg beats them all. I would never kick him out of my bed :)

He´s a soccer player, currently playing for Arsenal (well, I think he´s injured right now). And he works as model for Calvin Klein (there´s a pic in the article, I´ve posted-> http://www.aftonbladet.se/karleksex/0505/09/fredrikcalvin150.jpg )

EDIT: We also have 2 threads on him on TRF:

Prince Carl Philip is the monthly “design guest” during May at the Hallwyl Palace (museum) in Stockholm. During the 2005 Year of Design, the staff of the palace have decided to choose one known person (with an interest in design and craft) for each month of the year, whom in their turn will choose an object from the collections which will be featured in a special personal little side-exhibition with pictures and sound uptake from his/hers visit. Prince Carl Philip visited the palace on 22 September 2004, and was then given a special personal tour as he chose his object.

As “his” object, the Prince chose a teapot in silver. “The pot was simple but at the same time special due to its shape – round like a bun, bold but not too round. It was the shape that made me notice the pot”. The pot is made by Gustaf Möllebborg during the 1850-70’s and carries the arms of the von Hallwyl family on it.

Picture nr 1 is from the Hallwylska Palace, nr 2 is courtesy of Ritva (www.ritva.com) and her section of weekly magazines:

probably not the actual first steps. But one of the first :) I think I have read somewhere that the prince took his first steps around his first birthday, may 13 1980.
And these photos were taken at Solliden in the summer of 1980...
