This morning we were at ICA Kvantum in Värtahamnen to greet the elderly who have access to the store between 2 pm and at a reasonable distance. 07.00-08.00, before all other customers arrive.

Sofia had yesterday a video meeting with the reference group in Skandia Idéer för livet Foundation and today a video meeting with the board of Skandia Idéer för livet Foundation. Sofia has been a member of the Board of Skandia's independent Idéer för livet Foundation since last December.

On Thursday, June 11, Princess Sofia attended the Sophiahemmet's digital graduation ceremony, to pay attention and congratulate the newly graduated students.
In normal cases, the Sophiahemmet University's graduation ceremony takes place in the Blue Hall in Stockholm City Hall. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, this year's graduation ceremony was conducted digitally.

On Thursday, October 1, Princess Sofia attended the Reach for Change's digital event The Moment of Change, arranged on the occasion of Reach for Change's 10th anniversary.

Carl Philip and Sofia have tested positive for Covid-19. They are isolated at home, as far as I can understand with lighter symptoms. The rest of the royal family will be tested today.

Margareta Thorgren said to Aftonbladet (Expressen quotes the article), that Carl Philip and Sofia attended together with the King and queen, Victoria and Daniel last Friday at the funeral of queen Silvia's brother. And because of that the others are tested. There was less than 10 people at the funeral, all were tested before the funeral and the test results were negative then. The security measures at the funeral were enormous because of covid-19.

This just shows how little the negative test results mean in the long run. They could have been contagious despite of being tested negative. So much we still don't know about covid.

I so hope the rest of them will be okay. Very worried about Prince Daniel considering his condition and the immunosuppressive medicines he takes due to his kidney transplant.

The negative test is only valid for the day the test is taken, it doesn't say anything about the day after. According to this article, Sofia is tested regularly due to her work at Sophiahemmet, and most likely she have caught it there and infected her husband. Depending on her work schedule, she could have been infected after the funeral.

The King and Queen and The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel have been tested negative for covid-19.
On Friday, November 20, the King and Queen, the Crown Princess Couple and the Prince Couple attended a private funeral. Prior to the funeral, the Royal Family was tested for covid-19. All test results were negative.
After the Prince and Princess' illness on Wednesday, the Royal Couple and the Crown Princess Couple have now been tested again and confirmed to remain healthy.

Only Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are affected, and the others will be able to break their quarantine once they have received the go-ahead from the doctors.
Why did the royal family choose to be seen physically at a funeral, given the prevailing pandemic?
- The reason why the royal family met in the same church room is because they took huge security measures. All were tested as said before, and they kept a big distance. It was a digital funeral with only the closest in place. No relatives from abroad traveled here.
