Nicholas & Alina Maria de Roumanie Medforth Mills and Family, News & Events 2: 2022 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Alina Maria posted a series of lovely photos to her Instagram stories last weekend from a private event, The traditional Transylvanian Rolling Ball at the Zabola Estate.
The Ball has been organized since 2009, in various castles in Transylvania, and aims to raise funds to support the education of young people in the area.
Alina was simply stunning in a long silk dress in a lavender shade, which she matched with a purple envelope and a pair of minimalist earrings. The dress with a puffy blouse on the top and a flowing skirt on the bottom belongs to the Bucharest brand Il VOLO, which creates especially silk dresses. Nicolae was particularly elegant in his perfectly tailored black tuxedo.
Earlier in the day, Alina posted a video of a Szekler folk dance performed in front of the guests.

Prince Nicolae of Romania - guest of honor of the Vacanțe Muzicale. A storm stopped the jazz performance
The 4th evening of the "Vacanțe Muzicale" festival was a truly special one, not only because of the performances by outstanding artists, but also because of a royal presence of Prince Nicolae and Princess Alina-Maria, but also because of the promptness how Carmen Nastasă, director of the Center for Culture and Art "Carmen Saeculare", acted when the storm endangered the safety of those present.
Prince Nicolae, present as a spectator and honorary president of MIFNE, spoke about the joy of being present and his admiration for Sânziana Burcea and her work, appreciating the quality of the festival. Princess Alina-Maria and Sânziana Burcea spoke about MIFNE Romania and the problems faced by parents of children with autism. Organizer Carmen Nastasă spoke about the joy of having their royal highnesses as guests and the emotions related to the festival.

Nicolae posted to his Instagram from their event
"We thank the Center for Culture and Arts "Carmen Saeculare" Neamț, Carmen Elena Nastasă and the Neamț County Council for the special invitation to the event 'Vacante Muzicale' in Piatra Neamț. On this occasion, we managed to convey to the public the support of our cause, Mifne Romania - The Turning Point In Early Autism Association and the continuation of the mission to make known both the early signs of autism and the possibility of treatment in this city. Every child matters and the Mifne Center needs a lot of support from everyone.
By collaborating with The Mifne Center in Israel, Sinziana Burcea managed to found in Piatra-Neamț, the second center in the world, dedicated to the early detection and intensive treatment of early autism in children under 2 years old, involving the whole family in the therapeutic process .
We urge you to learn more about this method on the pages of the Mifne Romania Association..."

On July 16, the Romanian royal couple together with their two adorable children, Maria and Mihai, appeared in a picture posted on Facebook by Gabriela Doris, administrator of the Doris Foundation. On this occasion, we could see how much the two blonde children of Prince Nicholas have grown, daughter Maria-Alexandra, aged three, being a faithful copy of her mother. Mihai, born in 2022, is in turn an adorable blond boy, who has more of his father's features.
During their journey through Neamț county, Alina and Nicolae were also guests of a glamping site in Piatra-Neamț, which then posted images of the two enjoying the facilities of the resort.

"We couldn't pass through Piatra Neamt without visiting the Aline Cake Confectionery, founded by Alina and Mihai Libiță. We were greeted with delicious cakes and a warm atmosphere. Their story began with the desire to shape the first sugar paste rose, and now, after almost 10 years of experience in confectionery, they offer cakes made with delicacy and artistic sense, without compromising on the quality of the ingredients."

"I was delighted to discover the AER concept store at Piatra Neamt!
AER is more than a zero waste initiative, it is a community that promotes responsible consumption, supports small local producers and provides alternative, sustainable and ethical solutions to plastic products. What does AER do? It connects people and promotes a different lifestyle. An example to follow of which we are very proud!"

Happy that Prince Philip and Princess Danica together with their children accepted the invitation to visit Romania for the first time.
We were very emotional to have them as guests and to accompany them to Curtea de Arges, Sinaia and the capital with our children. On the occasion of this visit, Prince Philip reconnected with his family's roots.

In Romanian press
This visit was not only an opportunity to strengthen the ties between the royal families, but also a reaffirmation of friendship and mutual respect between the Romanian and Serbian people, marking another page in the history of relations between the two nations.

They are in Roumania 2 different Courts . One Officlal and one refused by the late King Michael.

Nicholas and Alina-Maria accompanied Prince Philip and Princess Danica of Serbia on a visit to Peles Castle in Romania.

Nicolae and Alina participated on Sunday August 4 in the liturgy celebrated at the Buneşti School.
"On Sunday August 4, Their Highnesses Prince Nicolae and Princess Alina gave us the great joy of being with us at the liturgy celebrated in the domus ecclesiae, together with the teachers, students and friends of the School. We also prayed for rain and it rained, during the agape. Then a new, clear sun rose over the meadow and over the oak pavilion with sails, where the Prince evoked King Mihai. And all of us, out of emotion, felt a little bit, for a whole day, the son of God, the grandson of the King."

Sounds almost like a cult... Is Nicholas here truly not only called a prince (we've seen that many times before as he seems to encourage that treatment) but also the son of God?

No cult behavious here, just specific religious traditions that certain places in Romania still practice (like praying for rain). As for the reference to the son of Good, it is just a mention in the romanian church where all people are called sons of good since Good is the father of all people. In this case, the phrase is extended a bit to specify what children of good is the prayer refering to (the grandchildren of the former king Mihai)

It’s just the translation. We all are God’s children in the eyes of the church.

It is King Mihai who did not want him to be his Heir and who decided he will not be Prince of Roumania anymore.

Nicolae and Alina-Maria attended a wedding on Saturday 17:

"Wedding at Westerwinkel Castle in Westphalia: Countess Elisabeth von Merveldt and Ghislain d'Adesky, son of Baron François d'Adesky and our dear friend, celebrated the mystery of marriage.
The religious ceremony took place on August 17, at the Church of Saint-Benedict in Ascheberg-Herbern by Father Markus Pottbäcker of Gelsenkirchen, assisted by Father Michael Cusack, chaplain of the English-speaking parish in Luxembourg. The bride and groom's witnesses were Countess Valérie von Merveldt, Countess Mariella zu Ortenburg, Countess Catherina von Spee, Prince Lionel von Croÿ, Count Gaëtan d'Harambure, Michał Mach and José de Pierpont.
This marriage reflected the harmony of the spouses' diverse family origins: the bride, whose father is from Germany and her mother from Belgium, and the groom, born to a Belgian-Rwandan father and a French-British mother. Having both lived in many countries, the bride and groom gathered around them their friends from all over the world to celebrate the most beautiful day of their lives so far.
The festivities continued at Westerwinkel Castle, the residence of Elisabeth's parents. Among the guests were many great Westphalian families, as well as representatives of the European nobility. I had the joy of meeting Princess Anita Hohenberg, great-granddaughter of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, close relative of Queen Ana and two of her children."

Secuiana, a Romanian brand with a long tradition in the production of quality men's items, which our parents' generation certainly knows, has launched a new line dedicated to women. It has been present on the Romanian market for 56 years.
The women's collection is created with care and attention to detail, using the same good quality materials, with a vibrant and refined style, and I fell in love with the pieces in this first collection that are perfect for me and my everyday activities . Congratulations @secuiana.official and Ana Toma!
You will often see me wearing outfits from this Romanian brand that I really appreciate.

Alina-Maria posted photos of their visit to Kunsthaus 7B and the Vernissage of result of International Summer Academy of Visual Arts Cisnădioara.
For the third consecutive time, Gabriela von Habsburg and Kunsthaus 7B from Cisnădioara, at the initiative of art collector Thomas Emmerling, organized the Cisnădioara International Summer Academy of Visual Arts. 22 artists from Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Hungary, Austria, Malta, Moldova and Romania came to Transylvania inspired by established international artists to work together.
I had the honor of being appointed Vice President of the "Friends of Visual Arts" Association, and for me it is important to support this cultural project, especially since the platform for it is in Romania and not elsewhere. It's great to see all these amazing talented artists fall in love with our country.
The "Friends of Visual Arts" association was founded by Gabriela von Habsburg and the director of Kunsthaus 7B Thomas Emmerling from Cluj-Napoca together with Victor Neumann, art collectors and connoisseurs from England, Germany, Austria and Romania.
