Monaco National Day 2016 - Pictures )
What a delight, perhaps my favorite family gathering on National Day since Prince Rainier was alive and Caroline's kids were mere babies/children themselves, and now the next generation, alas.
The only downside was the twins not being there with their second cousins.
Also, I find it quite sad that Charlotte has never brought her little one, Raphael, to National Day, but I think I understand the reason...
On a positive note, OH MY, they all look so lovely (for the ladies) and handsome for the men.
But my favorite couple, imho, are on another level ~ Pierre & Beatrice ~ the swan & debonaire gentleman (aka mythical prince charming). They look like they've stepped out of another time, a fairytale, two halves of a perfect whole. Lol I'm finally getting used to his beard & moustache (makes him look older but still good-looking as ever). The quintessential man. And soon to be father, judging by his goddess's maternal belly.
Princess Caroline was made to be a grandmother, she looks delighted by her grandchildren, especially the oldest one whose hand she holds, ahhhh. Btw, the girl with the red hair is the first one that caught my eye, as I recall she & Princess Alexandra hanging out together at Prince Albert & Princess Charlene's wedding in 2011.

Princess Stephanie looks happy & gregarious as ever. And what a wonderful surprise to see her son with her, though I do miss her two girls.
Princess Alexandra is growing up, but still maintains her little girl face, a child-woman.
I love how Princess Charlene's lipstick matches the lovely flowers on her hat, such an exquisite woman with a wonderful sense of style all her own, a jewel. Prince Albert chose well.
Charlotte is the only one that brings a lump of sadness to my throat. She looks so forlorn. Out of all Princess Caroline's children I never expected Charlotte to end up where she is now - alone, unmarried, etc. She cuts a lonely figure, and not only here. Still, she's only 30 years old and has the rest of her life in front of her, plenty of time to find true love... I'll be rooting for her, perhaps one day she'll find her own prince charming like this:
