In reference to Pierre's new girlfriend...I am not sure but what she was wearing? I would love to have been a fly on the wall..when Caroline saw her?!

And I must admit those are the first time I saw those shoes on someone who was not on a runaway.

Quoted for truth. She looks like she's a nice girl, but my god, her hair was such a mess

she kind of reminded me of 1980's rock star clothes. Possibly vintage Madonna with the shoes and hair. Very punk.

Pierre's girlfriend is wearing Chanel sandals.

Anyway, I don't think Charlotte is wearing Chanel. I for sure know that Princess Caroline is wearing Chanel though.

My oh my, I stay away for a few days and the posts go nuts. To sum up:
1) Charlotte's dress-yuck
2) Caro's dress-very nice but too short for her age (even with nice legs)
3) Ernst needs a haircut
4) Andrea needs a haircut, some sun, & a sandwich. (he looks sickly)
5) Pierre needs a haircut & a sandwich (too thin)
6) Pierre's date--HUH?? what is she supposed to be? She looks like she belongs in Cyndi Lauper's "Girls just want to have fun" video from the early 80s.
7) Charlene looked OK but needs to try clothing that actually covers her shoulders for once.

JMHO

hahahahahaha :D :D
libra65 you're right!....... in point 2,3,4,5,6,7............. in all! Charlotte's dress is ok, but the shoes... :s

Sad not to see Caroline or any of her children at the gala event after the race. Charlene looks wonderful in the dress, its a dior s/s07... Albert seems to be enjoyng her company

I don't get what's wrong with Pss Caroline's dress length.
Come on we're not in the 1930's, and God forbbid someone actually saw your knees. The woman has something to show and to be proud of and I don't see why she shouldn't, there was nothing inapropriate about that dress.
For quite some time people have been criticizing her for dressing like 70+ woman, that she should change something, and then she wears something more "daring" and she's criticized again.

And one more thing, a mature woman like Caro who wears that kind of a dress confidently looks a lot sexier and attractive than any of those paperthin, anorexic models.

Great pictures everyone! I love that Pierre is captured surrounded by the models.....who appear to have more class than the woman he brought w/him (she's dressed like a hooker!). Is Charlotte really dating this new man, or was she simply photographed next to him? I think Pss Caroline looks great - loved the dress/accessories; good to see her and Ernst together - where is Pss Stephanie these days? Good to see Andrea and Tatiana, but he is looking sooo thin these days - thinner than usual!

Pierres whatever is wearing "hotpants" probaby by chanel -- Why in the world would you wear that to an event???????? Get some class!!!!! I love all your guys comments especially you Horsey Girl and Libra, :ROFLMAO:I'd hate to be on your worst dress list

I agree that Caroline does wear her clothes confidently as she should. She almost always looks great. (I say almost always because there have been some flubs over the years). I do like this dress except of the length. Seeing her knees isn't a problem. We could have seen her knees even with a couple more inches of fabric. I must say that althought I didn't like the dress Charlene wore to the fashion show, it was an appropriate length. Just above the knee.

Dior?

Hi Dazzling,
I do not see Miss Wittsock's gown in any collection I have in front of me from the House of Dior because I had made for me number9,13 42 as shown in the ss07 from the Haute Couture;& I contacted one of my fitters there and she said that the dress was not affiliated with them but maybe I thought we are all fallible& I made a mistake so I double checked Style.com: the online home of Vogue and W; Fashion, Fashion Shows, Shopping & More and you said the ss/07 collection? Ready to wear or couture? I still could not find her gown there either.& I checked both ready to wear & couture video collections. I have reviewed every periodical in sight& I could not find a gown of this nature attributed to the Maison. Would you have the kindness to give us the link to this if there is one?It is only fair to me a paying client at Dior that Miss Wittsock &I will not turn up anywhere in the identical gown.
many thanks

Dear Jaya, there is no need to worry! Charlene's dress was not from Dior. From what I could see it wasn't from any respectable designer. The dress looked cheap and poorly executed. I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by some unknown designer.

It would be interesting to see if a designer even acknowledges the dress. Not because the dress is bad. The dress is actually nice. I love the color. The worst thing to happen to this dress was to be worn by Charlene, someone who did not care enough to have the dress tailor to fit her. Tailor the dress and put it on a person who has deportation, style, grace, can walk without tripping and that coral dress would be a knock out.

probably the same South african designer as last time. Though Dior does have a few dresses that are reminiscent of what she was wearing, but the execution was different. And it certainly wasn't haute coture.

Well whom ever had designed "that" dress should sue Charlene for demages. On her it just looked like a sack of potatoes. JMO

I agree, the dress looked like it was from the store rack - not so spectacular color, too much fabric or not enouch fabric, or something and I'm not sure about the gathering thing in the front either. :flowers:

Oh my -- well, she seems to fit right in with the rest of the bunch (except Caroline)

.....all in good clean fun! I'm sure I've been on an unofficial "worst dressed" list at times in my life....especially when walking the dogs (no make up, hair mussed)!

In pic #15, Charlotte, Eugenie, etc all have high-high heels on; Tatiana does not (flat sandles), so how tall is Tatiana? If the other women take their heels off, they're all about to her nose-level, correct?

i say she's about 5'10"-5'11". her mother is a model after all so maybe that's where it comes from.

I don't think that poor Lagerfeld has anything to do with the way they look. They pick and match their own clothing. It is reflection of their personalities and lack of style. Caro used to be more into fashion and style, but from the recent photos it seems that she is giving up on it.
Also, all of them have a huge issue with their hair. What a mess! Luckily for Albert he has no hair.

I completely agree on every point you have made here. The hair bothers me the most of it all, especially Andrea's, Tatiana's and Pierre's. Get some hair brushes!

They need to shampoo first. Very skanky hair! Looks greasy and stinky. I think also that both men are having their hair long to make it look abundant/cover the scalp. However, what this style does is emphasize how thin and sparse their hair is.

charlotte looked very pretty still, no thanks to her dress and her posture. i think eugenie, once again, 'outdressed' charlotte and company. my goodness some of the young women there looked like very pricey prostitutes, didn't they? :(
the men looked better, i've gotten used to the casiraghi brothers' hair and style. aside from them, the rest of the bunch looked, well, smokin' hot.

Yes indeed, their taste leaves plenty to be desired, but let's not forget that this was Monaco and a lot of women dress like that, even more so during special events in order to stick out. One woman was shown on TV wearing very long boots, hot pants, fishnet stockings and corsage top, sporting long black hair. She was shown walking to and from a yacht and the sports commentators couldn't help themselves. They were going like: did you see that? she looks like one of those latenight commercials followed by a phone number etcetc. That woman was probably overdoing it a little, but it was after all GP and Cannes nearby and then you get people like that, but even during normal summer season, women dress a lot more revealing then in other countries I have been to. And unfortunetly that usually looks cheap, no matter how much money was actually spent. A woman spending a fortune on totally ripped designer jeans still looks as my kids have put it: look mummy, that poor woman. she has all holes in her pants. Do you think we can buy her a new one?

It is about getting attention, no matter what kind. You have that as well in Hollywood were any publicity is good publicity. They are counting on us to forget what was yesterday. A lot of people do, except those whom they are trying to convince. To many of them Sharon Stone will always be remembered for spreading her legs in Basic instinct, but few will remember her occassional good acting (which apparently she has put ad acta since I can't remember any recent movie with her) because it is so rare. Whereas the majority of people will think of Sharon Stone the actress (though few would be able to tell you which movies) that campaigns against aids and adopts children.

I think they have long hair to cover their face, so they don't have to look people in the eyes.

Okay could we please get back on topic. Their hairstyles have been discussed well enough, and I think there are better threads to talk about those issues. You could also start a thread in the fashion forum.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Totally agree. Caroline has always and continues to have a stunning figure and she looked marvelous. I thought the dress was great on her because it was balanced: short skirt, but a fairly high neck and 3/4 length sleeves; if it had had a v-neck and short sleeves, that would have been quite a different story. Also, I liked the way her jewelry pulled your eye to her upper body, not the skirt.

You sure it wasn't a call-girl? I seem to remember something about a trial recently. Some men from Nice were supplying escorts or call-girls, not to mention some decor dressing, to the rich and famous during the Grand Prix last year. From what I read it was a very lucrative business, so I wouldn't be surprised that someone filled the void, if only by means of a one-woman-business.

No it was not a call girl... some girls are ridiculous in Monaco... you can see them when you are here... I've also seen some children with Dior or Chanel ... for going to school.

Did Monaco have this reputation of superficial flashiness when Grace was still around? I know Monaco and the Grand Prix have been synonymous with opulence and affluence, but with some of the inputs here, it is obvious that the Principality's wealth does not excuse it from looking cheap.
