Marius Borg Høiby News & Current Events Part 1: December 2023 -

So Mette-Marit quickly cleans, lest people think her son is a slob. Sorry but this is laughable. Evidence was being destroyed/hidden.
We have a Crown Princess who believes she is above the law.
And where was Haakon during this time?
Mette-Marit gets informed and rushes over to clean, did she call Haakon?
Was Haakon informed and he just buries his head? Does he know what happened to the sim card?

Se og Hør points out that Marius' statements in the interrogations are intended to draw Mette-Marit into the case. He denies that he has removed the SIM card himself, and during the half hour in question there are not many other options...
Se og Hør has asked the Palace a number of questions, including whether Mette-Marit witnessed Marius smashing the phone and possibly removing the SIM card, why Mette-Marit cleaned Marius' house before the arrest, and whether she removed anything from her son's residence. And if she removed drugs. They haven't got answers.

That's a good point, he could be trying to make her the guilty party because she has immunity. Hiding under mother's petticoats, some gangster

Say what you will about the yellow press, they have no scruples to be sure, but that includes digging more deeply into stories than more conservative/mainstream papers would feel comfortable with. Which means that they get to the nitty gritty of issues. The constant agitation by Se og Hør is good, otherwise I'm afraid the story would likely be hushed up by the powers that be.

Trying throwing your phone against a wall in a fit of rage. It will break and the SIM will pop out. (If it doesn’t break, ask a fit 20-something coked up man to throw it in a rage. Bet the SIM pops out then.)

My bet is Marius, who says he has anger issues, hurled the phone after the police called and said they were arresting him. He doesn’t strike me as a strategic thinker — nor does his mother — so I have a hard time picturing them carefully ditching the SIM card.

Besides, this is all a sideshow. The police need to move forward with the prosecution.

So much speculation, we will have to wait for the trial for the truth to come out. I think it was a big mistake for MM to go to his house and call the woman if that is true. As someone said you have to want to get better before anything will work for you.

With all due respect to Norway's laws , the police should have arrested Marius immediately whether he was on crown lands or not . With his known history , albeit covered up at MM's decree by the press etc , this is a farce of an investigation . Any sympathy I had for MM due to her illness has now gone , she , the NRF , and the "free " press . have covered up for the behaviour of this , self admitted , domestic abuser , alcoholic , drug addict for almost a decade , I do not absolve the police for their inaction . Perhaps if Marius and MM / the NRF had been publicly put in the position of facing his behaviour earlier , he might have taken a different path . We cannot say , hindsight is a wonderful thing . I absolutely 100% believe in the premise of innocent until proven guilty ,but by their own words both Marius and the press are guilty , as to MM / NRF well , inaction has its own effect , as does "cleaning " your 27yr old sons house before driving him to "chat" with the police .

No one admits to having notified the court of the arrest
The Palace confirmed on Friday that the police notified the Royal Court, and the court then informed the CP couple about "an incident involving Marius and about a possible arrest".
VG asked the Palace whether they stand by the statement that it was the police who notified of a possible arrest, as the Oslo police district, POD and PST deny having given them the information. Press contact Sara Svanemyr wrote in an email that they have no further comments.

So either the Palace is lying or the Police.
Someone alerted the Crown Princess. Friends in high places indeed.

And lets not forget the arrest was not about drugs but about Marius beating up to his girlfriend to the point she needed hospitalization. And Mette-Marit was concerned about a clean house, sure.

Just jail him already and get him into an intensive detox program. This is just ridiculous. MM isn't helping her son at all. Face reality and deal with it!
