Queen Letizia's Education and Career:
She began his studies in his hometown, at the La Gesta public school and, later, at the Alfonso II Institute. Together with her parents and sisters, at the age of 14, they moved to Madrid, where she finished her school stage at the Ramiro de Maeztu Institute.

Her journalistic vocation comes from the hand of her father and her maternal grandmother, Menchu Alvarez del Valle, renowned radio journalist in Asturias.
When his father was the director of Radio Antena 3, he presented, along with other classmates, the children's program El Columpio.

Letizia has a degree in Information Sciences, Journalism branch, from the Complutense University of Madrid and has a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Journalism from the Institute of Audiovisual Journalism Studies.

From a very young age, she combined her training with work practice, which she carried out at the newspapers La Nueva España and ABC, and at the EFE news agency, where she worked in international publishing during her last year of studies. She began her doctoral studies in Guadalajara University, Mexico, where she collaborated on the Siglo 21 newspaper, in whose supplement 'Tentaciones' he worked.

The Queen's television career began at the Madrid headquarters of the US chain Bloomberg, specializing in economics, finance and markets, under the supervision of Agencia Efe. She was then hired by the private channel formed by CNN and Canal +, CNN +, as a reporter, editor and presenter.

In the year 2000 she joined Televisión Española, where she worked with the editing team of Telediario Second Edition and was in charge of presenting the "Informe Semanal". She subsequently presented the morning newscast, the specials on the Euro that were offered on the TVE Newscasts and she was sent special to different parts of the world to cover current events. She was also an editor in the area of society, education and science, and later she returned to be part of the editing team of the Second Edition "Telediario", of which she was co-anchor.

On October 31, 2003, Letizia Ortiz presented 'Telediario' for the last time. This was her last working day at TVE.
