The Orphei Drängar men's choir was founded in 1853 in Uppsala and is still active with tours and concerts in Sweden and around the world. Svensk Damtidning was the only magazine attending the inauguration of the pavilion to the dog island in Drottningholm.

The king had invited everyone to the inauguration of his latest home project, this nice pavilion on the mini-island of Ormholmen, which is a few hundred meters from the park of Drottningholm Palace.
Here, all dogs can run freely, without leashes.

On Tuesday, April 30, at the King's birthday, the King Couple and their Bavarian Mountain Scenthound dog, Brandie, attended the opening of a new pavilion at Drottningholms Palace Park.
The pavilion is located on Ormholmen in the part of the Palac park called the English park. The island is open to everyone and dogs can go loose without leashes.
The new pavilion has been built on the initiative of the King and is intended to act as a weather protection and place for rest. The pavilion is made of wood with slate roofs and benches facing both outwards and inwards.
During the opening ceremony, an ensemble from the Armed Forces played under the direction of court-trumpeter Olle Hermansen.

The article doesn't specify what order was handed out, but since the word "orden" was used it's most probably The Order of the Polar Star that the honorary consuls received. Any other orders (The Order of the Seraphim & Order of Carl XIII) are for different reasons improbable and if it was a medal (of which there are plenty) the word chosen would be "medalj".

On Monday, June 17, the King and Queen visited the Royal Armoury. During the visit, the King and Queen got acquainted with the new permanent exhibition, which is a chronological story of Sweden's royal history.

King Carl Gustaf and queen Silvia attended today "Världens Musik & Mat" (World Music and Food) at Stenhammar Castle.
The event is organized by Stenhammar Estate Management, Lida Gård and Flen Municipality.
It was a large food bazaar & integration party with Flen VärldsOrkester, Flen Unga VärldsOrkester & Silvertrion. The day is very much about integrating refugees in the municipality of Flen and making new friends.
For the first time in 20 years, the public was able to visit the castle park at Stenhammar.

Stenhammar is an agricultural and forestry farm in Södermanland that is run by the King. For the World Music and Food event, the public was invited to Stenhammar for a day of music entertainment and food from different parts of the world.
