That's very beautiful pictures of the Monarchy, As like the Angel could understand what's beauty and what is apple in my language is plorm, I'm looking forward to make the decoration, it's more than expectation.Maybe i can share the beauty.

Prince Mahidol Award 2007

Thailand's widely respected King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on Wednesday evening conferred the Prince Mahidol Awards for 2007 to three winners in a ceremony at Ananta Samakhom Thorne Hall in Bangkok.

Three international medical doctors -- respectively from Germany, Australia and Nepal -- were awarded the Prince Mahidol Award 2007 for their outstanding and exemplary contributions to the advancement of medical, public health and human services in the world.

According to the statement released by the foreign ministry, the awardees were Prof. Axel Ullrich, Director of Molecular Biology at Germany's Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry; Prof. Basil Stuart Hetzel, President of the International Council for Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders in Australia; and Dr. Sanduk Ruit, Medical Director of the Tilganga Eye Center of Nepal.

The Prince Mahidol Foundation was established in 1992 to commemorate the centenary of the birth the king's father, Prince Mahidol of Songkhla. The foundation is chaired by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

BANGKOK, March 10 (TNA) - Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has been hospitalised after being diagnosed with a cold and bronchitis on Sunday, according to a statement from the Royal Household Bureau.

The bureau said in its statement that the Queen had been admitted to Bangkok's Chulalongkorn Hospital after suffering from a cold and frequent coughing.

Her Majesty would remain in hospital for a few days for close medical observation following royal physicians' advice, the statement said. (TNA)
 
HM the Queen remains in hospital

Doctors have asked that HM the Queen remains in hospital for two weeks to ensure she gets enough rest.




A Royal Household Bureau statement says the Queen's condition is improving and there are no complications.


"HM the Queen needs more rest. She has influenza. Doctors recommend Her Majesty stays in hospital for another two weeks," Chulalongkorn Hospital's Dr Adisorn Patradul says.
The flu is widespread at present, and is particularly affecting older people.

Queen recovers; advised to refrain from work

Her Majesty the Queen has recovered and returned to the palace. She thanked all those who wished her well while in hospital.
She left the Chulalongkorn Hospital at 4pm yesterday after comprehensive checks confirmed she was fully recovered.
Her Majesty was admitted on March 9 after being diagnosed with influenza, bronchitis and sinusitis.
Many well-wishers were at the hospital yesterday to see Her Majesty off as she returned to Chitralada Palace.
Doctors have advised Her Majesty to refrain from work for a period of recuperation.

Their Majesties the King and the Queen yesterday performed a royal merit-making ceremony in dedication to his late elder sister.

The service at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall marked 100th day of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana's passing.
Accompanied by other royal members, Their Majesties arrived for the ceremony just after 5pm.
Since January 2, the Princess' body has been lying in state at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall.

The King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej has prepared 2,000 aid sets comprising of food and bedding to help the victims of the cyclone-hit Myanmar, local media said on Saturday.

The aid sets, which cost about 1.08 million baht (about 34,840 U.S. dollars) to the victims, were donated by the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation, a royal foundation under the King, local newspaper Bangkok Post said on its webnews.

Earlier, Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has donated 20 tons of food, relief supplies, electric generators and water purifiers to Myanmar.

BANGKOK, July 2 (Bernama) -- Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej has asked Malaysia and Thailand to enhance cooperation in the research and development (R&D) of biodiesel and palm oil, Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said here today.

"The King has a positive view of the current relationship between the two countries and looks forward to enhancing the level of cooperation, including R&D in biodiesel and palm oil," he said after visiting the Malaysian embassy here today.

The biodiesel product was patented under King Bhumibol's name in 2001 and he has R&D facilities inside his Chitralada Palace in the capital.
Rais said he was truly impressed with the King's grasp and awareness of the Malayasia-Thailand relationship, which highlighted the highest level of hierachy in the country and its willingness to enhance various level of cooperation.

During the meeting, Rais said, King Bhumibol also spoke on having visits by royal members of both countries frequently so that closer a relationship could be achieved. He said Yang diPertuan Agong Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin was expected to make an official visit to Thailand next year.

Thai king in stable condition

Thailand's 81-year-old king is in stable condition in hospital, the palace said on Thursday, adding it would no longer issue daily updates on his health but would make a statement if his condition changed.

Thailand's revered king left hospital on February 27th and travelled to his palace in Bangkok, police told AFP, with media reports saying he was attending a private function.
A police spokesman confirmed the king was at Chitralada Palace on Saturday evening but said he did not know how long the monarch would stay there. No source could be immediately reached at the palace to comment.
The 82-year-old king, the world's longest reigning monarch and regarded as a demi-god by many Thais, has been in hospital for more than five months.

Given the current political 'temperature' in Thailand. I just hope this is a sign of improving health for His Majesty, as he might be once again called to ease tensions throughout his kingdom.

Queen Sirikit has a lot to answer for, a more schemeing and kniving consort would be hard to find. Some royal families we could do without.
 
I remmeber when passed Thailand there're so many flag sparkling with the yellow and picture of the wheel inside and image of his majesty at the cross road, I hope that His majesty is healing with very powerful way, so don't worry! the wheater in Southeast asia is a little bit heat sometime :flowers: It's good place to stay with the Hearty and love of all your best to the ( King)Maharaj.

I too wish the king good health, just as I wish a speedy recovery to the victims of his prime minister, and extend my condolences to the familes of those Thais gunned down in their own streets. Kings should unify their subjects not side with bloodthirsty power elites.
