For all who admire Princess Grace, you can watch in you tube the marvellous documentary GRACE KELLY,PRINCESSE DE MONACO(2007) of FREDERICK MITTERRAND ,which contains private scenes of Grace never seen before. If you want to watch it,you simply put in you tube Grace kelly, and below in uploaded you chose, this week.It lasts 1 hour and it is divided in 12 parts. It is really beautiful.I hope you enjoy it.Regards:flowers:

I have just watched the documentary - a real treat for Princess Grace fans. Thank you for uploading it:flowers: What struck me was the tremendous family life Grace created. The happiness in the home movies shines through. Yes she was regal/beautiful/elegant etc but importantly she was a loving mother to those children & a constant companion to Rainier. What a role model!

I know it will go to Rome and London next year, but I do not know if goes to Singapore or not.

I just came home after visiting the exhibition in Moscow. It was the last day today.

Also I watched the documentary of Mr. Mitterand. Well, the exhibition was essentially organized right after this documentary. Many of the fragments were shown on several big screens. However, some were also not shown at the exhibition.

My biggest interest were the Grace's dresses and suits. Really, the screen makes people look fatter from what they are in real :) The dresses seem to be made for a very slim woman. Or do they shrink with age? :) I like the black dress from Balenciaga the most, the one that Grace were wearing on her 40th birthday. Many suits were , unfortunately, cached behind thick glass, but also many were placed right in halls, so that we could see every inch of them. An exhibition of Hermes Kelly bags was interesting. Especially I was impressed by a huge light brown Kelly bag, the bag where two adult people could easily be placed :)
I was curious to look at Grace's shoes. They seem to be all looking alike. As for her wedding shoes, I remember Grace going out of the church on the leather high heels, as it is seen on her movies, but the exhibition showed some kind of different fabric pumps as her wedding outfit :)

As absilute delight at the exhibition were the handwritten letters. One from Greta Garbo with most sweet words for Grace. From Richard Burton who was writing right in the lavatory :) :) From Marc Shagall who praised the salmon that he had eaten at Grimaldi's, and has illustrated his thankyou letter with a salmonlike fish ;) Etc, etc :)

Of note, MOscow exhibition visitors, mostly women of all ages and complexions, seem to be well informed on Grace, as far as I could understand fron their comments. :)

Welcome to the forums, Lili4ka :flowers: and thank you for sharing
your observations and impressions from the exhibition in Moscow.
It was nice to read about such details and as to your question: No,
I don't think that dresses shrink with age :D they only do so if hungry
moths are around ;)

Would you please give some information about the next exhibitions of Grace next year?:flowers:

The exhibition is very interesting and worth seeing! Princess Grace is inspiration for many people.

Great photos everyone! I was wondering what was shown or what was the use of those big round mirrored cases in the exhibition?

Wow, Grace's outfits, jewels, hats, shoes and gowns are stunning! Thank you for posting these pictures, Zubiaur:)

Can anyone tell me the dates the exhibition is coming to London and where it will be

It's been a while since I've been on the Forum. Just two days befor my birthday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Evita:angel:, for twelve years she was my child, I mourn her. Today I thought I'll have a look on the Royal Forums to find out if there's anything new...
I was very surpised (and a bit shocked) to learn that the exhibition has allready been to Moscow... there was nothing about this on the website of the Consulate of Monaco in New York. Strange because they did announce the exhibition in Paris. I wonder when the exhibition will travel to London, we are deffinatly going! Reading about it and seeing al the wonderfull pictures it brings back memories of our visit to the exhibition in Monaco. It does'nt matter where Princess Grace her belongins are put on display, they are timeless and will dazzle anyone who will see them.
For me her gowns were very special to see, aswell as her shoes. There is something very personal about someones shoes... Her weddinggown moved me to tears. In Monaco there were many items for sale in the gift shop and I bought most of them:). I can't wait to see it all again in London. If anyone has more info please share... Thank you all for the amazing pictures!!! You've brightened up my day a little.

anyone knows if the exhibtion is coming to singapore please?

Glistening Seas
