they were taken by m lucie the court photographer. I haven't seen any in the paper yet (maybe today or tomorrow). We were not allowed to take any (didn't bring mine anyway, since I thought it was going to be like that). PA gave some autographs though. (I'm not sure if it was only the kids asking )AquaMarine said:Paca what about the pics from the recent event with PA you visited? It seems you wrote that it was taken some pics there? Curious! Thanks

Yes, he is definetely working on whale size. I guess he should rethink having English breakfast in the morning (as he stated in one interview). I still hope he did't misunderstand fitting his fathers shoes as fitting his fathers suits.pinklady1991 said:Oh, my, Paca...thank you for the photos, I think...illusions are getting shattered.
I was going to say that the camera adds 10 lbs but in one photo where PA is leaving the water it doesn't seem to be the camera that is the problem! And then again in the group shot on the beach HSH is obviously sucking in.
He needs a good woman; unfortunately not me I love to cook & bake.
P.S. I'm new to the site -- I really enjoy all of your observations. How do you get invited to all of the official functions? Do you work at the Palace? Absolutely fascinating for this American...
I guess his taylor couldn't keep up with his growing belly. He definetely has put on a lot since last year.Donna said:At least he looks much better topless than in his way-too-small tuxedo.
so first he got rid of all his hair, then he puts on so much fat that people think a whale stranded in Monaco and all this to scare off unworthy women to be able to feel sorry for himself? A notice on the palace wall would have been sufficient. Nah, I think on his last trip to Norway he fell in love with an orca and all his preps for the arctic, getting rid of his hair, putting on some protective weight are just attempts to make her love him back. She probably let him know that she had no intention of spending her life with a skinny lad like him and if he didn't put on a few xtra tons, he could just about forget it.Donna said:He ought to be able to afford liposuction and all sorts of operations to remove the fat if he likes. I think he keeps the belly to fight off any women who might be interested. This way he can say "See, noone wants me now, I am so fat!!!! I'll die all alone!!"
I like that.Donna said:We are nasty!!! There are people here who love him so much that we have to say something nice. Our darling prince still has the same dashing smile and good looks no matter what his lovely shape is. And this way he can find a woman with a free shape without her looking fat beside him.
No, they are like kindergarden for children under 3. Very difficult to find and for working parents, especially with a low income. But there are plenty of other sigts, that could be used as well (if one had enough good will), if there wouldn't be the realestate lobby wo could make millions on the other possible sites. Also they have been trying to get at it for sometime and I am afraid, that once they start building there, they won't stop.teense said:Paca,
What Is a "creche place"? Im sorry--Are they manger scenes for Christmas?
Yes it is the Parc princess Antoinette. It is the largest playarea for childre in the area that can be reached by public transport. (In Beausoleil there are hardly playareas, so this does not only concern children from MC but also in the surrounding communities whose parents are usually working in MC, but would not benefit from any creche places)Donna said:Is it the area on the way down from the Exotic gardens?
I agree. There doesn't see to be much for children in Monaco, except the amusement area in the harbor. Let's hope they will vote on reserving the whole area.
I am afraid that cookies won't sway the Pators who are gaining money on every bit that is built in MC.pinklady1991 said:As someone who works for a child abuse and neglect prevention charity in the States, cutting back on the quality of life items for children is nothing new. They lack financial clout so their needs get put at the bottom of the list. (For more info on what I'm ranting about, please check out my employer's website at www.mspcc.org. I am a fundraiser so please pardon my prostelytizing.) I am surprised that PA and others would consider a video arcade an acceptable substitute for parks and playgrounds.
To put this on a lighter note, maybe I could bake cookies to change a few votes or sway influence. From the tone of this thread they would be appreciated in a few corners.
Thank you for the explanation,Paca.paca said:No, they are like kindergarden for children under 3. Very difficult to find and for working parents, especially with a low income. Your welcome. BTW kindergarden is here equivalent to maternelle. Fortunately there are enough places there, actually more then needed so that they also offer places to children whose parents work in MC or who have other reasons for wanting to be scholarized in MC. By law they have to accept every child that is 3 or turns 3 the firs few months of the school year and wishes to enter the maternelle. Unfortunetely this is not the case with children under 3, which makes it hard for parents on a low budget to find proper care for their kids, once the mum goes back to work. There are no company creches or sth like that, so once you get pegnat, you better sign up your kid and even then you might not get a place. There should be a law that companies of a certain number of employees have to either create places themselves or help the community to create accommodatio for the little ones. The SBM (casino, hotels etc) employs more then a 1000 people and does not have any structure for its employees.teense said:Thank you for the explanation,Paca.
I'm glad I asked, because I am kindergarten teacher and I find it sad that Kindergarten programs are not a priority in Monaco....
