I am always amazed how they manage to create a romantic updo from Zara's rather short hair!

Agreed. Zara looks fabulous, and her hat really suited her. She and Beatrice really photographed nicely next to each other in their outfits.

They both looked well-dressed and floral summer chic, yet I felt they were almost blending into each other standing together.

I think this shade of blue suits her hair and skin tone . A really lovely dress= I particularly like the decorative neckline. The silver coloured shoes are a good choice rather than a more traditional white or grey tone.

I wasn't mad about the gown that the Duchess of Gloucester wore but the jewels and order really enhanced the over all appearance.
