Is it a possibility that the Duke will need to miss his grandson's wedding, or attend only the ceremony, due to his rehabilitation?
Why would he be in a wheelchair? They have hip patients up walking the same day.

There are steps and a long way for him to walk not to mention sitting for a long time. I hope he only does what he can comfortably do
Most Churches have a secondary entrance for those who are elderly or disabled so they don't have to do 100 steps etc.

But I think Phillip would still hate doing that. But as long as he’s there
I never said he wouldn’t go I said he will hate it if he can’t walk down the aisle but he will be there. Goodness so much twisting goes on lately
The Queen should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her six decades' service to the Commonwealth, senior political figures and ministers say.
The proposal to nominate the Queen is likely to be discussed on the margins of the 53 Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in London next week.
The Daily Telegraph has learned that several smaller Commonwealth countries are in talks to nominate the Queen for the prestigious award for her service to the organisation.
Ministers are also privately supporting the initiative with one saying "it is a lovely idea and it would be great if it happens" but pointed out that there is a formal nominating process.
The source added: "If someone nominates her and she is successful, I think the whole country would be thrilled to bits and consider her fully deserving."
Robert Hardman wrote this:Frank Field, the veteran Labour MP who developed the "Queen's Commonwealth canopy" initiative to preserve indigenous forests in Commonwealth countries, said he backed the proposal.
He said: "Over 60 years, if the Queen's determined diplomacy in keeping the Commonwealth alive and functioning - which is a model of how a multitude of nations around the world can police themselves - doesn't qualify her for a Nobel prize, it is difficult to think what more anyone can do?"
From me:The Queen will certainly not want to know the details of any Nobel campaign on her behalf. I am sure she will find the whole idea excruciating and very un-her. It is said that the only prize which preoccupies her is one which has eluded her all her life: the Derby.
But if the Nobel committee want to restore the credibility of their great prize, they should seriously consider a world figure who was peacemongering long before they were all born — and is still at it.
The Prince of Wales was in his thirty second year at the time of Elizabeth's birth. He was single, there were no princesses or aristocratic women in serious contention as Edward's future wife. It was known, in London Society at least, that he and Freda Dudley Ward were a long standing couple and that he was in love with her.
As long as that situation continued then the Duke of York remained next in line and his newly born daughter after him. Sometimes people can sense that a certain person isn't likely to stick to convention. There may have been a feeling in the country even in 1926 that Edward wouldn't make a 'proper match' as his brother had, might remain a bachelor even.
Her Majesty has been wearing sunglasses at many events in the past few weeks including watching Epsom Derby and a number of Buckingham Palace garden parties.
Today it has emerged that this was because of an operation on her eye to remove a cataract - but only had it done after she attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding on May 19.
The eye operation is the most common procedure on the NHS but she was treated as a day patient at the private King Edward VII's hospital in London.
The Queen has a picture of the Royal Family of Spain at Buckingham!!!!

Her Majesty The Queen had surgery last month to remove a cataract-
I like how that was done without any fuss in the media.
