Simple. Meghan has lived in the real world. Harry has not. They, together, might figure it out, but Harry on his own never will
 
Well good thing that Harry is not on his own. Living in the real world might be the best thing for him right now.

What difference does it make? Security would need to be paid (and other costs) regardless of where they live. If they were sitting at Frogmore they'd still be incurring those expenses.

We'll see what they earn off that book. It is supposedly going to be a best seller. Michelle and Barack earned millions off their book. I just hope it isn't a tell all about the royal family.

Whoever would have guessed the course of his first year?

Archie will have a Happy First Birthday.

Due to Coronavirus many grandparents are aching to share special birthdays with their small family members.
I imagine young Archie will have cyber celebrations of some sort and other treats. Good health to him!
 
Looking forward to waking up tomorrow and seeing some pics. Really grown to love his name.
 
I am not sure we will get pictures. I hope not. They are usually released night before for the media. If they use it to launch new instagram I won't have much respect.

Their spokespeople said we’d get something for his birthday, the current time in LA is 00:42am, so I don’t think we’ll get anything until this afternoon UK time.

See my message. It can't be released through the media so they may launch new instagram. Which is I think a bad idea. The media may release it here this afternoon but that is guaranteed to fly unseen. Whatever.

To get into the papers it needed to released by 10:30pm for first editions.

I think @Lumutqueen is right, H&M tend to (even when they were based in the UK) time their releases with the US audience and media in mind, so we may well see something later in the day.

I’ve seen your message, I don’t get your point. Why would the Sussexes release a photo for the UK press the night before his birthday, when they actively have little relationship with said media? They’re not going to operate to the norm like Catherine and William have with their children.

It also doesn’t have to go to print, the Sussexes can release it LA time to royal reporters on social media and it hit the papers tomorrow.

Clarence House has posted a picture of Charles, Henry and Archie at his christening last year.

It would be cheaper living in Frogmore, where they only paid a peppercorn rent and in a secure zone.

All royal.reporters are associated with a media outlet. The only way to do it is to release it to a media outlet or release themselves.

It would have to go to American outlets too. By 10:30 last night. They get these things days in advance guess good course they release it themselves.

I disagree that they had to release it last night, and if we do get one today it’s quite clear that they don’t abide by the 10:30pm rule.

They’re not tied by British Paper cut off times now, and it can go out via social media within minutes just by the push of a button.

Not all royal reporters are associated with the media outlets that the Sussexes no longer wish to corroborate with. Whether they get it second hand is not a concern of theirs.

The reactions that matter are those of The Queen and PoW. The only really rude one was from Kate..William was short/polite. The brothers will patch things up eventually. I really don't foresee them coming back though, if it happens likely not for some years.

Let's say their brand does not take off and the countless millions do not pour in? What would Harry choose to do in this situation? He has never done anything close to what is considered full time work in the real world. In this situation (esp. if he and Meghan are no longer together) he will find it much easier to go back to the UK, and live very comfortably, on one of his father's estates out of the spotlight (basically what Andrew is doing now-except Andrew has his own estate)

No, he sold his own estate to an obliging oligarch and now has the Royal Lodge in much the same way Harry chose Frogmore Cottage - only that the Royal Lodge is at least thrice the size. But both pieces of Real Estae belong to the Crown Estate.
 
Well technically they replied, “You can expect to see him.” We have seen him in the family posts acknowledging his birthday. They never actually stated new pictures. So I guess we will see if they do. It would be nice to have an updated image of Archie.

Personally I find it interesting that the only photos they used to wish Archie a happy birthday were taken at his christening nearly a year ago.
 
I find it mind boggling how much is focused on money. How much they have. How much they cost and how can they hold down a job to make a lot of money and even to the point of who is spending money on them to keep them afloat.
Its even been suggested how they can even live cheaper! :eek:

When talking about the Sussex financial standings of what they have or do not have, its going in circles because, frankly, their finances are none of our business. We'd be aghast if it was even implied that we had to divulge our bank statements at any given time.

Nothing, zilch, zero and naught is coming from any of our incomes so why in the world is it such a concern?

That picture of Archie is adorable. He looks like a mini Harry!! :D

So good that the photo was released to help a charity and we can now see the one year old. Archie looks like his daddy, and has a nice mouthful of teeth growing there! Excellent that Harry was behind the camera. Happy birthday, Archie!
 
Absolutely cute and adorable video, I am delighted though we cannot really guess if his hair is red !!!!!
