I love the outfit from today. The coat is gorgeous, and I like the way that she is wearing her hair. Black and white are always lovely together, and this outfit is a perfect example of why this combo works.

I like the black coat that she wore to the opening of parliament, but I do wish that she had worn something with more color. The hat is nice, but I don't care for her hairstyle. It looks like a little girl's ringlet curl, and it isn't very elegant, IMO. I also don't care for the brown clutch. It looks strange when paired with the black and grey shades of her outfit.

Im quite bored of this coat, its not young nor trendy. Yes it is a classic piece but a very not Chanel.

She looks amazing, it´s a good idea to wear this coat with a simple black dress and lovely black shoes, the overall is gorgeous. I agree that also her hair looks especially nice today.

The opening of parliament: I was disappointed by this outfit, I like that she wore somehting new, but after the colour of last year this black was very bland. I would even argue that it was a charcol shade of black, so I feel she sort of had an opening there to do somethign with that. I also agree with sgl that the clutch was an odd colour with the grey accessories. And to take that even further, I dislike it even more because she had a grey hat and grey shoes, black (ill-fitting...) gloves with it so the accessories were too much of a mishmach for my taste. i also felt like the hair was a bit disappointing following the great curls of last year, but I dont think I would feel as strongly about that had I liked the outfit.

for the Mary Foundation event, I am glad that this coat was put away as long as it was, because Mary overwore it early on. It does look very nice against the crisp black dress. So whilst it has been nice to see it back, I'd now be quite happy for her to put it away again now for the next few years.

I love the white coat over the black dress...it looks very chic.

She has worn this quite a bit in the past, but still makes it look like new every time we see it.

I totally agree, Parrot. When something works, it just always looks great. Mary does wonders with this classic look and I cannot see anything wrong with repeating it....

I loved both Mary's outfits from today. The white/black trimmed coat is perfect. Combining it with classical black dress is perfect idea.
I loved the hat Mary wore at opening of parliament.
Looking at how people are dressed it seems it is quite warm. I surprised that it's that warm in Denmark in October.

Wow, CP Mary looks great. The coat fits beautifully, and hits her prefectly at the knee. She really knows how to soften the black dress underneath with the soft white of the coat. Love it!
