Crown Princess Mary style and that of her British counterpart The Princess of Wales style often remind me of each other.

Both Marty and Catherine are head and shoulders above most of the other European Royal Ladies in the style stakes!

I agree! Both rarely get it wrong :flowers:

The Crown Princess looks lovely in green for the Mary Fonden for the Christmas photo!

She is a master at re-purposing her dresses!

This dress is nice, I am just not a fan of her wearing 2 back to back gray dresses. She should have worn something of a different color.

Mary looks great.

If I am not mistaken, this dress is an altered version of a dress that goes back a few years.

I thought so too. The top part of the dress is different. Lovely!

This is what I like about Mary. She mixes and matches her formal Levee wear which I imagine is something along the lines of the gowns worn by Camilla to the Annual Opening of Parliament formal but with a touch of individuality. When it comes to daywear, Mary also has the same approach and, just like we lesser mortals, sometimes it's a straight out 'miss' rather than a hit. On those occasions we seem to see a hint of a fail that has been altered to a hit on a later engagement.

I remember when she was not long married when people were enraged about the amount of money she spent on clothes and accessories but now we see the payoff, a wardrobe that spans the entirety of her marriage and one which we glimpse hints of something worn ten to fifteen years ago.
