In wikipedia ( not that reliable) says that after going to School of Mohammed bin Rashid he graduated from Sandhurst and then he went to London school of Economics.

If you go to Gulfnews and look at his profile it says the same thing but they add Dubai school of goverment.

London School of Economics? Hamdan? To absurd to be funny! Sandhurst is nothing. Nothing. It's just a military training school, prestigeous only because of it's long herritage. But like every other place you've got money... Is it possible for politicaly aware among you to imagin... that the egos of thousands of Gulf Royals are appeased in return for huge fees that go a long way towards subsidising the British Officer Training program? When you open your mind & your eyes I think it's possible to question a lot of things.

Hamdan was speaking metaphorically of a "School of Mohammed bin Rashid" in response not having an actual uni degree. He counts his fathers tutelage in statecraft and public administration as equitable to higher learning.

Sandhurst is strictly a military academy, and to contrast it with a school like West Point where its both academic and military, the content of Hamdan's education at Sandhurst is pretty clear (none). Even if West Point waived the requirement that cadets be US Citizens the Gulf royals still wouldn't make it past 1 semester (and I'm being generous...).

Now as for the LSE, he apparently took specialized courses there but was not enrolled in a degree program (this is as of last year when he was first made CP and his bio was released)...and if anyone of you has heard him speak English its doubtful his 'studies' amounted to much without extensive tutoring....well I'll let your imaginations roam from there. I don't think I will even touch the Dubai School of Govt, but to those of you here on the board who has attained a uni degree or professional degree--wouldn't it seem odd for someone to claim uni education without having the proof of 4+ years of hard work and committment to back them up?

I know I sound like a stickler but it gets my goat when folks claim to have done this and that and have nothing to back it up with.

Sheikh Hamdan will be the chairman along with Deputy Chairman Sheikh Ahmed.
That is a big Project for Hamdan - with much more work and responsibility than being Chairman of a group like Al Maiden.

But it would be really great if the Olympic Games would take place in the UAE.
Good Luck for Hamdan and Ahmed and all the others who are involved.

Sheikh Hamdan looks great in the suit...
You rarely get to see him in suits... I love it when he is in suits because being Arab I see a lot of traditional Arab dresses and its very nice to see Hamdan wear suits... Than the Arab outfits and the sweat pants and jeans.

I think he's soo handsome too and very photogenic but he's got lots of acne scars on his face, i think he should get some skin treatment and he also has lots of wrinkles around his eyes.. I think he's awfully young to have that many wrinkles thou...

Maybe he´s out of cash or he´s so self confident that doesnt need anything of that. And for that reason I think he´s pretty cool
