Afonso, Prince of Beira
Afonso de Santa Maria Miguel Gabriel Rafael was born on March 25, 1996 in Lisbon. He is the eldest son of Duarte Pio, Duke of Bragança and Dª. Isabel Inês Castro Curvello of Herédia. As his father's heir, he has the style of Royal Highness and the title of Prince of Beira. However, he is not considered an infant of Portugal, as this title is traditionally reserved for younger royal children, the result of a royal warrant issued in 1455 by Afonso V of Portugal, to commemorate the birth of the future John II.
Afonso is the first in line to the throne of Portugal.
Afonso was baptized in the Cathedral of Braga on June 1, 1996. It was celebrated by the Archbishop of Braga, D. Eurico Dias Nogueira. He had as godparents, D. Afonso de Herédia, brother of the Duchess of Braganza and Princess Elena Sofia of Bourbon and Sicilles. The next day, he was consecrated to Senhora da Oliveira, in the Church of Santa Maria da Oliveira, in Guimarães, a ceremony celebrated by Monsignor José Pinto de Carvalho.
In September 2004, Alfonso made his first communion together with his sister, Maria Francisca, at the Church of St. Peter of Penaferrim in Sintra.
Afonso studied at St. Julian's School on the Portuguese Riviera, Planalto College in Lisbon, and The Oratory School, a Catholic public school in England. He also studied Political Science and International Relations at the Portuguese Catholic University at the Institute of Political Studies in Lisbon.
In September 2015, Afonso was consecrated to Our Lady of Lapa, in the Sanctuary of Lapa in Sernancelhe, Viseu.
In August 2018, Afonso joined as an intern in the Department of Social and Pre-Hospital Emergency, in the Volunteer Fire Department of Lisbon, following in the footsteps of Afonso, Duque do Porto, who was Honorary Commander of the same brigade.
Through his father's connections to Timor, Afonso was appointed Honorary Liurai in September 2014, when he and his family visited the country to participate in the second senate session of the Liural Association, which represents the descendants of the island's tribal kings.
Afonso is also the patron of the Prince of Beira Biomedical Sciences Award.

Infanta Maria Francisca, Duchess of Coimbra
Maria Francisca Isabel Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Paula was born on March 3, 1997, in Lisbon, being the daughter of D. Duarte Pio and D. Isabel, the Dukes of Bragança. He is third in line to the throne of Portugal, after his older brother, D. Afonso, prince of Beira and his younger brother, D.Dinis, Duke of Porto.
Infanta Maria Francisca Isabel received the Sacrament of Baptism on May 31, 1997, at the Church of Our Lady of conception of Vila Viçosa, in Vila Viçosa. The religious ceremony was celebrated by the Archbishop of Évora, D. Maurílio Quintal de Gouveia and the Infanta was consecrated to Our Lady of Conception. It had as godparents, Princess Marie Lieshtenstein, cousin by mother of Dom Duarte Pio, and D. Henrique de Bragança, Duke of Coimbra.
In September 2004, Maria Francisca made her first communion together with her brother, Alfonso, at the Church of St. Peter of Penaferrim in Sintra.
On July 4, 2018, the feast day of St. Elizabeth of Portugal, Infanta Maria Francisca received the title of Duchess of Coimbra from her father, the Duke of Bragança, in a ceremony held at the monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova in Coimbra, succeeding her late uncle, Infante Henrique. At the same time, she was appointed lady of the Order of St. Elizabeth by her mother, the Duchess of Braganza.
Infanta Maria Francisca is currently studying Social and Cultural Communication at the Catholic University of Portugal.

Infante Dinis, Duke of Porto
Dinis de Santa Maria Miguel Gabriel Rafael Francisco João was born on November 25, 1999, in Lisbon, being the third son of Dom Duarte Pio and Dona Isabel, the Dukes of Bragança.
D.Dinis is second in line to the throne of Portugal and has the title of Duke of Porto.
Dinis was baptized on February 19, 2000, in the Cathedral of the city of Porto, by D. Armindo Lopes Coelho, Bishop of Porto. It had as godparents Sebastian of Herédia, his uncle, and Ana Cecilia of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.
After the ceremony, Infante Dom Dinis was taken to another Chapel of the See, where he was consecrated to Our Lady of Vandoma.
Infante Dom Dinis received his 1st Communion on December 1, 2007, the eve of the 1st Sunday of Advent and Restoration Day of Portugal. His 2nd Sacrament was celebrated in the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation in Chiado.
Dinis did an internship at the European Commission. He is now studying Political Science and Sociology in Belgium.
