There was an Habsburg tiara. The peacock tiara worn by Archduchess Priscilla.

There are a lot of tiaras still in possession of various lines of the Habsburgs, but as we don't have the chance to see them that often, we just forget how big the family is...and what might be found in their family vaults...

The tiara worn by Archduchess Priscilla is a tiara belonging to Archduchess Yolande , born Princessse de Ligne. Her daughter and Marie Hélène , Princess Priscilla's Mother wore it at their Wedding day.

But that one belongs to Archduke Karl. Pity that he does not loan it to his sister-in-law.

The Court Jeweller made a post a very lovely 7 strand pearl necklace once owned by the Kinsky family

Duchess Sophie of Wurttemberg is selling off jewels. She is the first cousin of the late Duke Carl

There is an article in the New York Times today about an upcoming auction of some jewels belonging to the Wurttemberg family. But no specific mention of them being sold by Duchess Sophie?

Here is the paywalled article in the NY Times, and here is an archived version, which may or may not display the photos.

What ever happened to Princess Franziska's Diamond Tiara?

Hello peeps, does anyone have any information of the possible whereabouts of Princess Franziska's Diamond Tiara?

According to Luxarazzi it was sold at an auction in the early 80-ties. Not sure who the seller or the buyer was. Considering the size of the diamonds it seems to be an ideal tiara to be taken apart and for the sones to be sold seperately but let's hope that did not happen.

Schleswig-Holstein Diamond Bow tiara worn at the wedding of Prince Constantin von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg to Countess Marie Sophia Franziska Marlen von der Schulenburg:

The Schleswig-Holstein Diamond Bow tiara was first worn by Princess Alexandra of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Queen Victoria's granddaughter:

Thanks for that! Always nice to get to know an unknown tiara. i didn't know the family owned this one.

I think the Diamond Bow Tiara would make a really lovely Wedding tiara, not crazy about its design but I think with a wedding veil its would shine!

Yes, yes. :) But the auction site said the provenance is the House of Hanover.

Beutiful portrait of a German princess in big diamond tiara from 1906:

Does anybody knows who the Princess might be and what jewels she might be wearing?
