Honorary Doctorate? She's been Queen for just a year.
Did his father had some Consorts too?, never heard about it. But this King Rama X sure rub her in peoples face. I don't think Q Sirakit would have tolerated it. Well different countries, different what ??.
Why should he move to Europe? Why should the Europeans have to put up with him? He has the best of everything in Thailand.
Well I for one think this event should have been attended by the Queen not by the consort. I don't know but if the Queen was not there, I think it should have been one of his daughters or sisters, who should resided over the ceremony, but not for her.(...)
He already lives in Europe much of the time. He has spent much of his adult life in Germany. Its no coincidence he was in Bavaria when lockdowns happened. And even though he could have returned to Thailand to be with his people during it he took over a hotel in Germany instead.
Not that I think the Germans want him. Or that they deserve to be stuck with him. But he does see it as a second home if not his main home.
But I agree he doesn't seem to care enough about either his family or the monarchy to step away from it.
Maybe if he was worried about his life, or being imprisoned, he might. The only thing he seems to care about is himself. If there was a threat he would die or face prison back home, he may abdicate and stay abroad.
The Germans do not want him there either. He s King of Thailand, not Bavaria, plus, plus he can not toy fly on his private aircraft from german airport to german airport any longer like he used to do.Next would be to declare him persona non grata.A head of State is not allowed to stay in a foreign country longer then he stays in his own is the reasoning in Bavaria now.Ramalala clearly broke that rule,by far.
.
But it should be an issue for the Thai government to look after that their Head of State doesn't spend much of the year abroad. Not really an Issue for the german Government which could also harm the diplomatic relationes between the 2 countries.
I hope he don't make Bavaria his primary home. The Bavarian people need him like they need Stalin on Steroids. He need's to remember he is the King, the head of state, this makes him a Servant of the people he rules, if he like it or not.
I'd say as the situation is right now, where the Thai people are increasingly questioning the rule of King Rama, he will be "abdicated" the moment his erratic behavior interferes with the government.
Does anyone know what is happening in the 4th picture. Why is Sineenat bowing on the King's feet?
