An architectural history of Westminster Hall
I enjoyed that thank you.
I was hoping "bah humbug" might appear in really big letters.
This is an interesting recreation of how Westminster may have appeared in Tudor times. London's hidden rivers are a fascinating topic.

Amazing and can you image all the original statues /altars,frescos before the iconoclasm of 16th and 17th centuries.
So it survived reformation & revolution. It's quite a tale.
Sister Concordia Scott who was the Prioress of Minster Abbey died in 2014 and seems to have had a long connection with the Abbey. What a fascinating story. I had no idea. Lovely to think there was someone artistically gifted who was able to do this.
Canterbury's St Augustine's Abbey is not too far away. After the dissolution it was partly converted into a royal palace. Elizabeth I used the palace.

Goodness knows what else they will discover at the site they have unearthed a medieval sarcophagus could possibly be that of an abbot.
I wonder if they could identify him.
