I was lovely to see that many in the royal family went to the funeral. The royal family really steps up in a time of grief for their country. Wonderful to see.

Not really the country was not very happy that they didn't go to the funeral of Miguel Delibes which was considered to be one of the best writers of Spain (he deserved the nobel in my opinion). Although they had some conflicting shedules some member of the SRF should have gone to that funeral.

This funeral is less important, most people in Spain don't know who Luca de Tena was (I didn't); so they do no step up in time of grief for their country, They attended the funeral because he was a personal friend of the RF.

It's nice to see them supporting the Duques de Soria and their children. Maybe the pics of Letizia and Elena embracing will lay some of the rumors to rest. It seemed to be a natural and affectionate, not staged, embrace. Thanks for the pics lula.

The Kings and the Infantas Pilar, Elena and Cristina are attending to the funeral, besides the Kings of Greece and Prince Albert.
 
 
It is really touching to see Rafael Nadal carry the coffin, nice gesture.
