Such lovely girls. Stephanie must be so proud. They've both grown up so much in the last year. One is very like her aunt Caroline (without the mediterranian colouring) and the other is beginning to look less like the Kelly side of the family. I always thought that Camille was very like Lizanne Kelly but she's changing a lot. Perhaps she will grow up to be more like her father's side.

She reminds a lot of Caroline too. She has her aunt's bearing, when she was young. Please, put little Camille on a diet. She's lovely, but she needs to eat less...;)

Me too, I loved to see all three girls together, and I hope we'll
see more of such great joint appearances at the other still
coming shows! So far there are not many pics of the parade yet,
but I guess that will change. Here's one mainly with the circus
animals and artists:

:heartflower:O-M-G the pics of the Curcus are exquisite. Oh-h-h those beautiful costumes. Some pics downloaded but others didn't however, the one's that did are beautiful. PA looks exquisite; although we don't find it out of the ordinary at all for Camilla & Alexandra to attend together most certainly--it's a great place to be and whom better to be there with than the other children! Stephanie that blue/grey outfit is both stunning & elegante even with the slacks! bravo that is an awesome outfit all in all it's a great day for the circus! Camilla & Alexandra are getting so tall!! looks like they are both going to be on the tall side and they look wonderful!! :heart1:

Tonight (18th) there will be an ecumenical act of worship in the circus tent. The service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Monaco, Mgr Bernard Barsi. Prince Albert will attend the service, and the Prince's Carabiniers will provide the music.

The event usually attracts around 3000 people and coincides with the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (Semaine de Prière pour l'Unité des Chrétiens).

After the Service, PA's football team "Les Barbaguians" will play against a team of circus artistes at the Cap d'Ail stadium.

I guess Camille and Alexandra had a good relationship:flowers:, of course both their families as well.
I remember went to some photo galleries (bew photo gallery) and found some pictures with caption :
ę QUEEN INTERNATIONAL REFERENCE: BLACK MONTECARLOS, 19 NOVEMBER 2008, NATIONAL DAY OF MONACO After the festivities and celebrations of the National Day of Monaco Princesses Alexandra (daughter of Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst of Hannover), and Princess Camille (daughter of Princess Estephanie), enjoyed at the Fair Ground settled at the harbour of Monaco. Alexandra Hannover demonstrated great skills for climbing like spiderman, while Camille prefered the atractions where she was sit.
:previous:just type camille monaco onthe search box

Back to circus photos, I enjoy all the pictures here... is it just me? bcs I think Pauline looks older than 15/16?? yo with those make up:whistling:
Okay, its just my personal opinion but.... Camille was Grace Kelly's clone when she was younger, but less and less kelly as she getting older but still pretty (I think there's no problem about her weight, she just 11 yo for God shake).
Alexandra in contrary, so so hanover since baby, but gets prettier with time as her baby fat dissapear so we can see that she actually has dimples like her uncle and brother andrea, and inherit her mother's elegant posture and nice legs.

in the end, none of the grimaldis born ugly :D

A Monaco-Matin interview with Stephanie on the future for circuses - with or without animals....

Monaco.maville.com Princesse Stéphanie : « Sans les animaux, le cirque traditionnel est mort »

Thanks for this link. It is interesting to read Princess Stephanie's opinion on this matter, even if I don't totally agree with her. It's obvious she loves the circus and, in turn, loves the animals. I respect her feelings and admire her passion. Hopefully, the two sides can come to a compromise that is most beneficial for the wild animals.:)

She reminds a lot of Caroline too. She has her aunt's bearing, when she was young. Please, put little Camille on a diet. She's lovely, but she needs to eat less...;)

In regard to Camille's appearance and with all respect, I think you're wading into an area that only Princess Stephanie and Camille's physician(s) should have any say about. She is still a very young girl and we, as adults, should have a bit more discretion in our comments on such a personal, sensitive matter. If you can't keep it positive when commenting on a child, IMO, you should keep it to yourself.

Thank you Renata4711 and Radker for the additions :),
here's one more - the zimbio gallery of day 4:

Didieaja, I do believe the same, but as to that caption, it's just
been a caption as the pics turned out on the same day, they did
not go there together, but both of them with different friends.

And darasmom, you are also right about that certain discussion,
we've had that before and asked members not to lead that
discussion as to the same mentioned reasons.

It seems she was reusing a top from a previous FAM Gala (am I right?) and jacket from a National Day a few years ago on day three. Interesting combination. I think she looks very nice in grey and shiny when not too tanned.

Thanks everyone for the links and pics. My evening is made as I browse through the pictures. :flowers::flowers::flowers:

Thnank you very much to you all for posting such great pictures of the Circus Festival , I´ve enjoyed a lot watching them .:)
It´s also great watching Camille and Alexandra together , good for the family . Are they similar ages ???

Kiina, I think you are right, plus: I think she's also worn it
at a circus festival before! :)

García, Alexandra was born on July 20, 1999, so she will be
11 this summer, Camille was born on July 15, 1998, so a
year earlier, but in this short distance you can speak of
similar ages for sure I would say :)

By the way, on the third pic of the latest pics Radker kindly
shared with us, Steph is pictured with the kids jury of the
festival, that's always such a nice tradition!

Here are the pics of the mentioned ecumenical celebration today.
It's so extraordinary to see a mass in the circus tent, so it's
really impressing. Although the tradition is not new, I can't
remember having seen pics of that before, but maybe it's only
me and I've missed that ;)

:twohearts: love your avatar Iceflower! the pics were great! Don't recall ever having seen one at the circus either. So it was perhaps something new. All the pics of the circus activities have turned out super and never a disappointment. :heartflower:

I don´t know if Camille has the Gottlieb looks, but she reminds me of Peggy Kelly.

That's really kind, garcía :flowers: I fear I don't.. ;)

Glistening Seas, I meant it was the first time that I saw
that kind of pics, but the event itself has taken place in
previous years before. Glad you liked the circus avatar :)

Prince Albert joined his sister Princess Stephanie to kick off the
football match between Circus team and Prince Albert's team.

Albert obviously didn't play himself, at least Steph did so a bit ;)

I thought Miss Wittsock had disappeared as she usually attended the Circus event itself.Evidently not at the circus Cw attended the awards ceremony with Pa and PS.
Good to see her again.
The ecumenical service at the circus was quite the idea of benediction.

Pauline is really turning into a beautiful girl/woman.

And WHY did Stephanie let her 11 year old daughter wear a sheer top???

I think as a loving mother Steph simply let her daughters
decide, and the problem with the shirt mainly occurred
because of the strong spotlight and flurry of camera flashes
at the entrance..

You're welcome :flowers: Looking at all those fantastic pics from
the last days, I think one can say that this year's festival has
been a real success again, it's been wonderful to see both of
Steph's daughters so often again and the family members and
Charlene Wittstock in such a great mood. Not to forget all the
colourful circus artists!

Here are more pics from yesterday, if you look at pic 11, mother
and daughter were wearing similar shoes :)

Iceflower you're so right, it was wonderfulto see the family members and Charlene. And thank you for posting so many great pics! :flowers: In this last batch of pics I think that Charlene looks elegant. I've always thought Stephanie was such an original, sporty, unique, etc.. Lately though, when I see pics of she and her daughters I'm reminded of Sarah, Beatrice and Eugenie. Lovely, all of them, but does every dress have to be so tight and so short? Maybe it's just me but I think there is something to be said for classic elegance.

You're welcome, lea :flowers: I guess there's always the difference
between what we expect a princess to look like and wear and their
personal styles they feel more comfortable with, indeed the Duchess
of York and her daughters are a good compairable example.

I've forgotten to mention that there was not only one Golden Clown,
but also a second one, that was handed out to the Chinese acrobatic
troupe of Shandon!

Here are several pics of the winners (also silver and bronze clowns)
