Wonder who in the royal famly moght take up those patronages?
I like Sophie a lot, but if she wants to be in touch with the real world and have people genuinely admire her, then her maternity leave and part-time work are over.
There could be a real serious reason for all this -- one that we may never find out for a long time -- so I have to just sit and wait for the official notification. I am sure that it was not done lightly.I like Sophie a lot, but if she wants to be in touch with the real world and have people genuinely admire her, then her maternity leave and part-time work are over.

All of Sophie's charities and patronages are BACK. And it is so nice to see them again on the royal website. Really sloppy that it has been wrong so long and they had to wait to switch to a new one to fix it. But still so glad they are back
63 including her honorary military positions. The majority seem to fall in three categories I notice: disabilities (physical or learning) and blindness, the fine arts (ballet, a few galleries, architecture trusts, army singers), and sports. And most include kids in some way. Also community projects for homelessness. How many patronages does she have now in 2012?
Me too, I like Kate, but I think Sophie is better choice for that specific patronage. What a cool Patronage and I am glad Sophie has been chosen/chose to do it as opposed to Catherine.
Children's hospice backed by royal family shuts after £2million coronavirus losses
A children's hospice backed by the Royal Family has been forced to close after Covid-19 blew a £2million hole in its finances.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex, patron of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, has been left “incredibly saddened” after it shut one of two sites dedicated to helping 800 seriously ill kids.
