Jordan is to host the Arab League summit 2017 tomorrow (Mar 29th).

Royals who are expected to attend:

- King Salman of saudi arabia.
- King Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

:previous: from UAE it's sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed crown prince of Abu Dhabi not Sheikh Mo of Dubai.

it's intersting gathering,, since soooo long not that much of arab leaders attend the Arab Summit last one was a fiasco..that's prove how King Abuddulah negociations skills is good especially that he makes King Mohammed VI attends:D

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will represent UAE. He is already on the way to Jordan according to his official twitter account.

King Mohammed VI`s participatin is surprising too because he did not attend this annual gathering for the past 12 years.

The Sultan of Oman will not attend due to health problems.

He may come today with King Hamad of Bahrain.

:previous:
There must be a serious reason for King Mohammed VI for not attending the summit.

On a different note, King Abdullah should be duly lauded for meeting each person at the airport.

Al_bina as i said above King Mohammed VI have very low views about the Arab league work and commitment he stop attending the Arab Summits for 12 years exactly after that public shameful row between former Lybia President Gaddafi and former King of SA King Abdullah wich was not first as arab leaders like to fights and attack each other verbally what make any work between them unrealistic of cours so at some point Mohammed VI had enough and stop coming because it's usless.

:previous:
It is very kind of you to share details about the Arab League Summits. Judging by official press releases, the league is said to be capable of discussing/solving regional issues.

well i have to say they are improved in this area these last years i mean discussing regional issues in calm and respect for each other, but find solutions and more important apply them...well they still far from it,all their official press releases after each Summit is just meanless talk and the sitution in ME is big prove, the Arab League didn't solve any of the conflits ravaging the area.
