So sad news about Cristina and Iñaki, but not surprising at all. [.....]

Infanta Cristina of Spain and Iñaki Urdangarín have divorced.

They married in 1997 and have four children. Two years ago they announced their separation, following several years of legal issues related to Urdangarin's embezzlement charges.

Source: Infanta Cristina has signed the divorce papers

And only the second ever Spanish Royal divorce since the 1975 Restoration ,that's both of the kings sister now divorced.

The late Duke of Segovia also got divorced as did his older brother the former Prince of Asturias.

and the Duke of Cadiz?
You are right, but I think Don Alfonso wasn't acknowledged as "royal" (although he was a HRH) because he was not an "Infante".
Anyway, divorce is legal in Spain since 1981. Before that, it had been legal during the Second Republic (1932-1936). After the civil war, the new Francoist regime annulled the divorce law "with retroactive effects". This meant that former divorced couples were automatically married again if someone requested it.
The Duke of Segovia was never divorced as long he was a Spanish citizen.

I had forgotten about the divorces of 2 of the sons of Alfonso XIII
HRH Don Alfonso,Prince of Asturias
HRH the Infante Jaime, Duke of Segovia

That's very sad for Nikolaos and Tatiana. But it sounds as if the separation will not be acrimonious.

I'm sorry that their marriage is ending, but I hope that their divorce will not be acrimonious. Both of them seem to enjoy living in Greece, so I hope that each will continue to do so.

That was a quick divorce for the Albanian Crown Prince!

Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer and his third wife, Karen, have announced they are divorcing.

The couple married in 2011, and have apparently been separated since March.

Wow! What an idiot...He literally had it all...
Young, stunning wife from a rich and famous family and from all accounts seemed to love him and he CHEATS. Pfff....

From the look of it shes also an idiot she shouldn't have posted her divorce like this on social media! Now she has lost what little of support she had from Dubai. I dont think her dad or any one out there is happy with her post because they never announce their divorces, this might also make her lose her daughter as children are normally expected to live with their dad after divorce. Not to mention women cant divorce their husband by saying I divorce you x3 like that, only men can so now even religious fanatics are attacking her in the comment section.

Her daughter is only two and a half-months old (probably Mahra is still breastfeeding her)

In such situation (in fact till 3 years of age according to the teachings of Islam) an infant has to stay with its mother.

Yess but he still might take the child when she turns a certain age, if her dad doesn't intervene in her favour😕

We don't know how she found out about her husband's infedility, maybe it wasn't the first time. And we don't know how her environment is, does she get support or does everybody take it for granted that the husband has other relationships after just being married and becoming a father. I always thought that most women in those men dominated societies would easily accept several wives, but obviously Mahra didn't expect that.
Maybe she posted it before somebody could stop her and everything would be hushed up. And that, she didn't want. There must be a reason why she made this public on social media. I hope that she can keep her child. Any other decision would be just unjust and cruel. That Islamic law should be abolished! Sorry, but that makes me really furious!

Nothing strange in it - she is half-European (after her mom), and she was born and partle raised in Europe (although Greece is considered one of the more patriarchal European countries)
