Hasn't Carl Philip been to Sochi? I miss him there. He has always been to the Olympics with his parents. Does anyone know why he hasn't been in Sochi this year? :ermm:

Queen Sonja with Marit Björgen and Ingvild Flugstad Östberg, the norwegian gold medalists of women's Team Sprint Classics. Queen Sonja skiis herself and the gold brought tears to her eyes.

King Harald met Ole Einar Björndalen, who today became the most decorated athlete by winning his thirteenth medal with a gold in the biathlon mixed relay.

King Harald and queen Sonja met the gold medalists of the biathlon mixed relay: Tiril Eckhoff, Tora Berger, Emil Hegle Svendsen and Ole Einar Bjørndalen.

Emil Hegle Svendsen said that king Harald was very happy, but he looked a little tired. But now Norway leads in the Medals at the Olympics, so he reckons that the king is happy.

Are any of the Royals, apart from Prince Edward, attending the Paralympics?
 
The pictures of Frederik training with the athletes are sure very nice... And I think there's a special reason why Frederik trained along. I can see Frederik will be Regent from the 22th February to the 8th March, but except for Sunday the 2th March. I will almost bet we that day will see Frederik in Sweden to the annual Vasa race which always takes place the first Sunday in March ;)

He gets pretty good coverage in our 'daily news' from the Olympics on our channels. I just saw him (very happy and smiling) handing out medals http://cache1.asset-cache.net/gc/470...eywBSLQw%3d%3d Our very popular sports reporter, Claus Elming, had a chat with Frederik and he tell that Frederik told him he actually was a bit nervous about meeting the talented winners.
